Initially, I had tried Jarrow Formulas when my (naturopath) Dr. had recommended a particular dietary supplement which was not easy to find. However, Jarrow Formulas was the only one that had the supplement with the exact formulation that was required. Therefore it was an easy next step to purchase their brand of Biotin 5000 mcg. I am quite pleased with this product since there is no wheat, no gluten, no soybeans, no dairy, no egg, no fish/shellfish, no peanuts/tree nuts. In my opinion this is as close to purity as possible. As far as "other ingredients" are concerned in my experience I have found that "they" do exist in many different brands. ~~~Back to Jarrows Formulas Biotin 5000 mcgs~~I believe that it is a safe product, and I know for certain that it is a good buy as well.

I have been taking Biotin for several years, specifically Jarrow Biotin. It can be a bit pricey when purchased at the store, so I was very happy to find that I could buy it on Amazon. Biotin is very good for hair and nails. I have seen a big difference between before and after taking Biotin. Also, my doctor told me that there is nothing better to put in to my body.

I've been using Jarrow brand supplements for many years and usually buy them at Whole Foods. I got tired of spending upwards of $150 a month for supplements so I searched Amazon.com and found the supplements for a fraction of the price. Sorry Whole Foods, but you won't see my purchasing supplements from your store any longer. Thanks again Amazon

This is a must have producto for those who have troubled hair. It not only helps to strengthen hair but helps to grow it. However, nothing can take the place of the proper vitamin/mineral combination in restoring or growing hair. Given proper digestion and absorption of vital nutrients, this product is a wonderful addition.

The biotin is helping me woith my nails, skin and hair. My nails hae gotten so strong and they do not peel or crack.

No way of telling if the hair is getting thicker, but I guess I'll just have to continue taking the pills and hope they work as advertised. But fast shipping, received when scheduled. Thanks!!

My daughter sent me a photo of this product and told me to order it for my hair. My hair has turned around 360 degrees since I started taking Biotin 1 a day. I will not stop ordering Biotin from Amazon - my hair is nothing like it was, thin, drab, fly away, falling out. It Does Not Fall Out anymore!!
