Sturdy, roomy, well ventilated for RPi 5
I purchased this for a Raspberry Pi 5 Network Attached Storage (NAS) project I was doing. I needed a well ventilated, sturdy case that had room for a NVMe SSD daughter card (hat), a heatsink for the SSD, an active cooler for RPi 5 as well as good access to all the RPi's ports. This case ticked all those boxes. Better yet, it's made of metal. It comes with all the screws and rubber feet you need for a quality finished case. The case is well constructed, sturdy and fits together seamlessly. Very happy with this case. Will buy more of this case in the future.

Great case!
This case I bought to replace on that came in a kit from another company. I love the nice finish. The cooling is great and I have no issues using my active cooler which it fits along with my nvme hat. The space for the power button fits great. Putting it together was easy. Only downside is you have to take it apart to change out the nvme but that's only a few screws and more do to the hat then the case. Overall great case I would recommend to any of my friends. Which I have.

Great case. Risers (NOT) missing from the screw pack!
At first, I was delighted by the quality of the P579 steel case. It is stamped and folded from a sufficiently sturdy gauge of steel to resist flex. The case fits together well, and the holes align. There are no burrs on any edges, and the thick matte black finish is everything I could hope for. However, some minor issues soured my experience just a bit. The case arrived with the cover screwed on, the screws so tight that I feared the heads would strip out before they came loose. With channel-locks on screwdriver, I forced the screws out. I suspect paint choked the holes. Working the screws in and out a few times freed them up. If you encounter this problem, make sure your screwdriver is EXACTLY the right size for the screws. The small instruction card that comes with the case is all but useless, and the QR-code printed on the card is too small for my phone to read. Set the card aside and go straight to the Geekworm website. It was there that I discovered that the included screw & nut kit had extras of some parts, but was entirely missing the brass risers needed for the SSD hat. >>CORRECTION!<< In my discourse with Cindy Ding at Geekwork, I have discovered that the long risers shown in the Amazon Photo are NOT included with this case. Apparently, long risers come with the SSD board. The hardware actually included with the case is seen in another photo, and those are short risers. My confusion lead me to believe that parts were missing from the screw pack, when They Were NOT. Finally, the hole for the Pi-5's power button means you may need to mush your fingertip into the case to power up your computer. An flexible-membrane button over the hole would have been nice. But this is a small quibble; it shouldn't be a deal-breaker given the quality of what you get for the price. (I have fat fingers. I plan to glue an extinction onto my pi button so that it juts out beyond the case. Be careful if you try to do the same!) Conclusion: The P579 is a well made case at an affordable price. The good people at Geekworm in China were very responsive to my Emails. I LIKE a company that stands behind its products. For this reason, I give the P579 case four stars. (Thank you Cindy Ding!)

Love it
Compact and sleek. Room for growth. Does everything I need it too and it fits the geekworm hat I have on top. We hide it on a bookshelf and it just holds all my websites in the background.

nice box
I like the case. Ease to place the pi board in and secure it. I do wish there was a button the would stick out for the on/off.

Problems but "good enough" for some applications.
This is a decent copy of other RPi 5 SSD hat case designs. Cons: Sheet metal seems slightly thinner (lower gauge; or they just use softer / annealed steel to make pressing / bending & welding easier and faster). While sides and bottom will be fine (as those are formed into a 4-sided box), the top cover will eventually bend (cave in). Stand-offs that came with the unit are not what is shown in the advert pictures -- they are shorter. They will allow to install the RPi board itself BUT are not usable for SSD hat installation. Many SSD hats come with their own mounting hardware, so prey that the threads are the same... Pros: Overall fit and finish is fine. All cut-outs are right size & in the right places for RPi 5. Good ventilation. Overall: Decent value for money but there's a place for improvement.

Good quality but almost Faraday cage
It accommodates my 2280 NVMe SSD and hat with the RasPi active cooler. I use this with my 4gb Pi 5 I get almost zero WiFi with the lid on but its close to ethernet. Came with enough standoffs, screws, etc to get it nice and tight. FYI- I purchased a similar (more expensive) case from Geeekpi with an acrylic top for wireless connectivity for my 16gb Pi 5
