An oil drilling rig dramatically collapses in the North Sea, off the Norwegian coast. Review: Really good European effort at this genre, which works and it's recommended. - The only reason I don't give it five stars is that despite the excellent atmosphere, great characters and everything in place, it does not have many moments where you gasp for air on the edge of your seat as it should. The special effects are significant, ( and excellent ) but the spectacular moments are not that many, and it also does not avoid the usual predictable death we have seen a million times as we guess a specific type of character is in there just to be killed later. But overall, it's a great effort away from Hollywood to create a European disaster movie with some great moments, nevertheless and it's recommended.

Enjoyable film.
The Burning Sea is a slow burner of a film but after a while slowly builds and I found the film really enjoyable. If you watched The Wave , and The Quake you should enjoy The Burning Sea.

Good movie
I enjoyed the film, I knew it was subtitled prior to watching, it didn't detract from the viewing experience at all. I recommend.

Si te gusto Marea negra puede que te guste esta. Bien estructurada y con suspense. No hay castellano, ni subtitulos en castellano. Idiomas noruego e ingles. subtitulos en ingles , ingles para sordos e ingles narrativo. La pelicula se entiende perfectamente. Buena imagen y buen sonido Atmos tanto en Noruego como en ingles

This movie is amazing . Those things could happen in the real world . The actors are great , the effects are also great . Its a disaster/ drama / thrilling movie from Norway . The WAVE and THE QUAKE are also very good movies to see . They must make more of this movies , i love them . 8,5/10 .

The movie expressed concerns over what would happen on oil fields in the sea and how to mediate the problem. The movie has great actors and has great effects.
