What does mattery mean it says no battery needed how does it work please?

My guess is that it is a typo and they meant battery powered. Also my guess is they are trying to say that there is no battery included. This unit does required one AA battery. I would suggest they find someone who speaks English to write the description of the product for them, as it probably was made in China.

How long will one new alkaline battery work without replacement?

Impossible to accurately answer. A lot of difference between Sunbeam economy batteries purchased at the dollar store and a premium battery such as Duracell or Energizer. The power draw on these quartz clocks is minimal. With a good battery I would anticipate between 9-12 months. I used a gold inexpensive Harbor Freight brand battery with mine and so far it's lasted almost 4 months.

My second hand moves but hour and minute hands don’t movr. Solution?

If the hour and minute hands don't move try cleaning the mechanism with a delicate flow of air using a liquid dispensing bottle pump without any liquid in it. This air will displace any dust that may be jamming the mechanism. If that doesn't work; you've got a defective mechanism - return it for replacement. BTW, these mechanisms are prone to short life MTBF due to their delicate structures.

C'est un bon produit

L'appareil marche très bien et a été facile à installer. Le seul problème est que les aiguilles ne sont colorées que d'un seul coté. L'autre coté c'est de l'aluminium, donc de couleur banche. Lors du montage, les aiguilles ne peuvent se mettre que l'aluminium face à l'observateur. Comme le cadran de ma pendule est blanche, aiguille aluminium sur fond blanc, c'est peu visible.

I bought these specifically for a couple 1920's school clocks from neighboring cites, so very versatile. The electric movements inside them now do not work. Tested and work well, keep good time. Pop in a AA battery and off she goes, easy. Replacement will be pretty easy and straight forward. One should be a perfect thickness for my use. Then I'll just order the other. The appearance of my antique clocks will remain perfect with these. Great value for bringing my antique beautiful clocks to life again.
