All Aboard the Toilet Train!: A helpful potty training single-sound board book for chidlren ages 2 to 5 (Bing)

If you have a child with autism, or perhaps multiple diagnosis issues, you may well have been adviced by an ed psych to skip the potty stage to avoid making the process more complicated and adding even more transitions they have to adjust to. It is very hard to find a toilet book for kids that is tough, durable, just does the toilet, has sounds and avoids Americanisms like diaper, which for British children with language development delay and sensory processing issues needs to be avoided. For those parents that have kids with learning disabilities, this book is great, truly, I know three other parents of children with learning disabilities who have zoned in on this book where others have failed. It's no miracle fix, and the book isn't indestructible, we are on our third copy now, but we've been using it for quite a while and when our child has plateaued or regressed (so the changes to routine with Covid for example,threw our child completely), this book has provided continuity and a point of reference to refocus our efforts again. And for those parents who have these battles and are nodding their head as they read this. Don't give up. It will happen. Wishing you guys the very best.

Good images gentle discussion of the topic the press button is engaging and exciting. Managed to get my 3 year old to sit on the potty and we read this book twice and she was content to listen and press the button at the end of every page. Helps to make the potty sitting and waiting side fun.

I have twins and they started the toilet training at the nursery. One of them was ill at that time so she refused. When we asked to her if she wanted to go to the toilet (weeks later) she was still answering "no". But suddently one day, her sister was sitting in the toilet while I was reading to her this wonderful book. And then the one refusing to use the toilet said: "The Toilet Train!!" "Me toilet, mummy" Since then both girls are using the toilet with their step and special seat. We are still in the process but definitely, this book did a miracle with my daughter. I will always recommend it!

Only plays half a time. Toddler looked at it once and hasn't bothered with it since. Not engaging enough. The book is well made though with easy to turn sturdy pages.

Children loved the book so much it is now dog eared and nearly destroyed. Battery is dead and still insisted on being read sometimes. 5 stars. Child may need to be a Bing fan by the way.

Got this as my daughter loves Bing. Use it to help get her more into wanting to use the toilet. It kind of helps, but she really loves the train noises.

The book arrived with the battery completely dead

Le compre a mi hijo este libro con el fin de que dejase el orinal e hiciera pipí en el water. Bing le gusta mucho y además es en inglés. Pensé que no lo entendería pero objetivo conseguido. Después de unos meses sigue usándolo y espero que lo haga por mas tiempo.

Mein Sohn liebt es, ich finde es nervt ein bisschen. Macht immer nur dasselbe Geräusch. Bilder sind sehr ansprechend und auf das wichtigste reduziert. Bing - du machst das toll! Tschu tschuu
