Love these. Have bought them several times, now, and will never go back to the plastic kind. They do not scratch my good pans- no matter how hard i scrub- and they DO scrub. The sponge doesn't get manky (assuming you don't leave it sitting in nasty dishwater), and smells fresh even after weeks of use. That's the other thing- these LAST. plastic ones get limp and smelly after only a week or so. These stay bouncy and fresh for AGES. i occasionally toss them into a pot of boiling water for a few mins just to be extra sure they're not growing anything icky deep inside the sponge, but i probably don't need to, since the fresh smell tells me they're just fine. anyway- if you're looking to get away from the endless pile of plastic in your home, this is a good move. They are long lasting, well made, and they do the job.

These are brilliant! The sponge is lovely and squeezed driervthan synthetic sponges, (so much better for wiping down worktops). Plus...I know it will degrade. Win/win

Pretty decent but quite thin which may not suit some.

This is the second time that I’ve ordered these. They took a little getting used but now I am very satisfied with them, they do a good job. I wasn’t happy that they were in two lots of plastic packing though. I’m buying them because they’re supposed to be sustainable, so do they really need that much plastic included in their packing?

Slim but great. Come vacuum packed. Am using it on the bath too as it is non scratch. Easy to hold. We like them. Great eco friendly sponge.

Took a couple of days to get used too. Hard and stiff but soon soften up. Does a really good job of cleaning the dishes, without scratching. Last for ages making them very economical.

The sponge part is obviously cellulose but the scrubbing layer, while *containing* clearly organic fibres, consists mostly of something that looks, feels and melts just like plastic. NOT what I bought these for! Also, the scrubber is delaminating from the sponge after just 3 uses, so not as long-lasting as suggested either :o(

These are fantastic! I have Scoville and similar non-stick pans and other cookware that my temporary carers hadn’t taken care of and nothing was getting them clean. These have brought them all back to looking like new with no damage to them at all. They’re eco friendly, durable, easy to use and their compressed size makes them so easy to store before use. They’re also great for cleaning all round the home, not just dishes. They hold up well to being put through the washing machine and used again and again before you need to compost them, too, meaning they’re not only good for the environment but also much better for your budget! So much stronger than the traditional cheap version which are just wasteful and false economy.

Me han encantado estos estropajos. Son 100 % naturales, se hinchan al mojarlos y tienen una textura agradable que limpia bien sin rayar. Duran bastante más de lo que esperaba y, al ser de celulosa, se enjuagan fácilmente y no cogen mal olor. Además, vienen muchas unidades, así que cunden un montón. Muy buena alternativa a los estropajos sintéticos.

I want to know where these sponges have been all my life! These are some amazing sponges for an amazing price and they are worth every penny. The maker of these sponges also have others for specific needs like scrubbing and nonabrasive. I will say up front that these sponges are smaller and thinner than your typical sponge but not by much. What they lack in size they make up in durability. A single sponge will last a long time. I used my first sponge for a month. Now I did disinfect it in the dishwasher several times even when I disposed of it it was still durable and just like the day I used it first but I did not want to push using a sponge that long. A single box of these will last you months. The thing I like best about this product is the fact that is highly biodegradable and is made from natural materials you can even add it to your compost. This particular sponge is non abrasive so you don't have to worry about it scratching your nice cook ware and China and even though it is nonabrasive it still get's the job done. I thing anyone especially those who like to shop with mother nature in mind will love this product. Normally products that are all natural and biodegradable or made from recycled materials are very exspensive but you can't beat the price. I just bought a second pack of sponges even though I am not even half way through my first box. I have been using my first box for six months and have not even gotten halfway through them but for the price I decided to go ahead and stock up while I had the extra money. Normally I would do a Pro and Con with a product but this is a rare product and I could not find anything negative with it.
