I’ve had plenty of TVs and projectors over the years, and the AWOL beats all. The picture is stunning vibrant colors, great brightness even with light in the room, razor-sharp detail. Movies, sports, and YouTube all look incredible! The built-in apps and smooth interface make it feel more like a premium smart TV than a projector, so I don’t need any extra devices. The sound is clear and punchy too, no soundbar needed!! The volume is so immersive is crazy! I bought the AWOL 3d glasses as well, it literally takes the theatre to next level!! Setup is painless and you can literally carry it anywhere. You can adjust the screen, the quality super intuitive software. On top of a fantastic product, AWOL’s customer service has been responsive and genuinely helpful. I’m already planning to buy another setup for my dad because I know he’d love it as much as we do. If you want a real home theater experience with incredible picture, clear sound, and smart-TV convenience, the AWOL is the best TV replacement you can buy and worth all its money! Highly recommend.

For years, I have told myself to not buy (anymore of) the bleeding edge technology gadgets. The AWOL LTV 3000 Pro falls into the bleeding edge category, but I still purchased one anyway. I did this after checking a bunch of YouTube reviews of the AWOL LTV Pro series. Generally, the reviews left me a sense of lacking (as with other projector reviews). Pays your money, takes your chances. Upon powering up the LTV 3000, my initial reaction was abruptly favorable. The projected video on a cream colored wall was very good. I recently added a 100 inch ALR screen which made the picture even better. Accuracy, focus, color aberrations, contrasts are wonderful. Fonts were remarkable. Color rendition is outstanding (either from streaming or from a Panasonic Blu Ray player). Of course, a darken the room helps. Out of the box, the internal speakers were dreadful sounding. Finding the equalization and tone controls on the remote mostly solved the situation (adjusting to boost the high frequencies). Normally, I use the optical digital audio output to my HiFi system so these adjustments are not relevant. There are 3 HDMI ports available. One is sort of dedicated to a streaming stick which can be hidden in a recessed area in the back of the unit. A cover is provided to hide the stick and local wires. A Firestick seems to work fine, Roku needs to have its WiFi long range wire extended. It would have been nice if AWOL provided some holes thru the cover for wire access. There are 2 USB ports, however I have not used or tested them. There is also a video component input. I do miss not having an over the air TV tuner. The HDMI ports all work fine, both with streaming and Blu Ray players. Just as you should expect from modern HDMI systems. The video component input presented to me an opportunity for a time warp to the past. My Super Beta HiFi worked great as a video source. Picture was good. Sound was good too. However the 4:3 aspect ratio was not preserved (stretched to 16:9). Naturally the old 350 line resolution was not improved. (Note: one can buy elsewhere a converter box that preserves the 4:3.) Most of my viewing has been streaming HD content, no problems, good job here. I had some difficulties with UHD 4K. Either or both the Panasonic DP-UB820 Blu Ray player and the LTV 3000 doesn’t like something. I ended up switching the LTV 3000 inputs while restarting the disc in the player. Problem sometimes occurred just as the user selects “Play” on the disc’s intro screen. Otherwise the UHD display looks fine. I haven’t tried out any of the Dolby options. 3D worked great (using AWOL glasses). But the 3D requires a manual selection on the LTV 3000. The 3D display initially starts up with a double image, one on top of the other until the LTV 3000 gets into it true 3D mode. The main issue for me is that the LTV 3000 automatically exits the 3D mode whereas manual intervention is required to start the 3D mode. A typical 3D disc jumps between 2D and 3D during the intro phase of the disc. (My 12 year old Sharp LCD TV automatically detects 3D and activates same.) 3D performance is quite good, A darken room helps the experience. The things listed above are what can be seen as the pluses. Only one issue needs to be stated. The LTV 3000 has a variable speed cooling fan. Things are quiet at first. Usually as the video proceeds, the fan speeds up (noticeable fan noise is still acceptable). After an hour and half of 4K UHD, the fan seems loud. All in all, if you able to spend the large amount of money, the AWOL LTV 3000 Pro is a buy. Just don’t forget that you can but a couple of 75 inch high end large flat screen TVs for the same amount of money or less than the LTV 3000.

Recently bought LTV-3000 Pro. Overall happy with it. Reaction so far: Pros: - Beautiful picture and color. Very bright, watchable even with some ambient light and no screen. WIll be getting a screen as soon as I figure out what size I want it to be, probably 120-135 inch. - 3D works and looks good for most part, (but is manual turn on-off and you have to diddle with it every time, see Cons) - very little adjustment necessary for size, it is auto focus. Just make sure both corners of the unit are equidistant from the wall. - DOlby Vision and color look great, as long as you don't choose 'vivid' settings. Cons: - Low refresh rate at 60 Hz max. This is problematic for high motion movies, 3D, and gaming. while you can turn on motion smoothing for TV shows, this is not ideal for movies where you dont want the 'Soap Opera' video effect. - 3D is bare bones. You have to manually enable it and fiddle with the settings (swap right left) every time you watch a basic 3D blueray. Not quite 'Pro' level. Also the low refresh makes action sequences with a lot of camera panning just a big blur. In areas with white colors, you get a rainbow effect during movement. Still, it is 'mostly' acceptable, just not awesome. - Menus are primitive, with little to no explanation of what the settings do, either on screen or even in the manual. Aparently you have to go online. Definitely not 'Pro' level. - Gaming is a mixed bag so far. The low refresh rate cuts down responsiveness majorly. There maybe settings tweaks to workaround this, but havent dug into that yet.

Upgraded from my AWOL 2500 and this is a massive step up! I previously owned the AWOL 2500 and was already a fan of that projector after testing Epson, Hisense, and Samsung. The Aetherion Max is a noticeable jump in almost every way that matters for daily use. Daylight performance is the biggest surprise where I can actually watch during the day with some blinds open. The extra brightness (3300 ISO lumens) holds up way better than the 2500 did in ambient light. Sports and casual daytime viewing are now usable instead of washed out on my 123 inch ALR screen. Gaming is excellent. Input lag is very low, VRR works well, and it feels responsive even on a huge screen. I run it at 4K/60 for most games and drop to 1080p high refresh when I want that extra snap. Movies look spectacular. Colors are rich, HDR has real punch, and contrast is a clear improvement over the 2500. Dark scenes have more depth and the image just feels more cinematic. Pairing it with a good ALR screen makes a huge difference. Setup is typical UST (you have to get the placement right), but once it’s locked in, this thing is a daily driver for movies, games, and daytime TV. If you’re in the market for a UST projector look no further, the AWOL Vision Aetherion Max is the one!

I've owned projectors for well over a decade and have always loved the immersive experience of a huge screen. But laser projection—especially the AWOL Aetherion Pro—is on a completely different level than the traditional projectors I've used in the past. I'll start with the only downside before moving on to everything that's great. Because this is an ultra-short-throw projector, it sits close to the wall and projects upward. That means the image starts roughly 18 inches above the floor. If you have low ceilings, especially in a basement with an 8-foot ceiling or less, you'll need to plan carefully. You may find that you can't achieve the screen size you want without the image reaching the ceiling. In my case, I had to settle for a 10-foot diagonal image instead of the 13.5-foot image I previously had with a traditional projector. It's not a flaw with the projector—just something buyers should understand before purchasing. Now for the good. The picture quality is simply incredible. It's one of the brightest, most vibrant displays I've ever seen. Even in my dedicated theater room, it's bright enough to light up the room, yet somehow the extra light doesn't wash out the image. The colors are rich, the contrast is outstanding, and the black levels are astonishing. It's honestly difficult to explain how it produces blacks that look so deep on a standard white projection screen. This is an expensive purchase, but I have absolutely no regrets. I'm genuinely blown away every time I turn it on. I uploaded a few videos to give people an idea of what it looks like with the lights on and off, but no camera can truly capture what your eyes see in person. That was the hardest part about reading reviews before I bought it—there's simply no accurate way for photos or videos to convey just how impressive this projector really is.

Being a gaming family, we had some apprehension about buying a projector. The AWOL Aetherion did not disappoint! The picture quality is amazing! We hooked it up to our Xbox and have been able to play with perfect sound and picture quality. The projector is easy to set up and adjust and is great for family movie night.

Just thought I would write a short review on my experience with my purchase of the LTV3000 pro. First of all I think we are so used to the amazing delivery times from Amazon. This was not the case with my purchase. My unit was stuck in Hong Kong for almost eight days before it was even released for shipping. So it was not sent from Amazon but from Awol. It was a nightmare getting Fedex updates for delivery time. Tech support was helpful in getting me answers but I think the time frame was crazy. Awol offered me a pair of glasses for my troubles, I have not received any glasses currently. Next my issue was when the unit arrived. I was excited to set it up and enjoy the quality of all the reviews I had gone though. Set up was pretty simple with the usual moving the unit left, right, back, forward, up and down like all projectors getting them to fit on your screen. Then came the reality. The picture does look impressive and Dolby Vision came on and was detected with my Apple 4k TV. But this unit has Chromatic Aberration and is very annoying. Color drop shadow on text and graphics and on the top and bottom of all letterbox formats. I had not seen any comments by anyone describing this issue. I contacted tech support. One person was just not even close to helping. Asking me what screen I was using and that I should be able to fix it if I go though the menu. I sent many picture to another agent and he did confirm that it was indeed Chromatic Aberration and that this was just how it was and thanks for my understanding. I'm not totally convinced that AWOL would be ok sending out a product where they know that they have a lense that can't focus and want to charge upward of $4000. I was replacing an LG Cinebeam with this model. and in comparison the Awol does have a better image with it's Dolby Vision, but there is no Chromatic Aberration on the LG. I know they are different tech. I am not sure and still have no answer from Awol if this is an issue on all units or if it could be a defect on mine. Hopefully I will be able to get some answers and be able to give a more honest opinion on the LTV3000 pro. But for not I'm not exactly a happy customer.

When my daughter broke the screen on my 75" Sony Bravia XR X90K I was trying to decide how to best replace it. I knew that I wanted something with built in Google TV as I had become accustomed to the interface and functionality. I briefly looked at other LED TV options but quickly decided that I did not want another big TV with a fragile screen. I started looking into Ultra Short Throw Projectors and came across the AWOL Aetherion Pro 4K Projector. The specs seemed too good to be true. I have 2 teenage boys who are avid gamers and the 1ms response time stood out immediately along with the brightness, contrast ratio, throw distance and Google TV OS. Given the cost I did not make the decision to purchase lightly and spend the next few hours watching Youtube reviews of both the Aetherion and its competitors and came to the conclusion that the Aetherion was the projector for me. The only question was whether I could justify the MAX or the Pro. In the end I went with the Pro and cannot be happier. The image is Bright and Crisp even when there is some ambient light. My 18 year old loves it and told me that the reduction in input lag is noticeable. I originally projected this onto a bare wall, with little complaints, the only being that any imperfections in the wall are noticeable, so if you want to go this route make sure the wall is perfectly flat. After a week or so I ordered the AWOL VISION 100-inch Projector Screen Fixed Frame, 1.3 dB Peak Gain MW-100 to pair with the projector. The results were amazing and can be seen in the attached images. I have been using the projector for a month now and have absolutely no complaints. The projector is seeing constant use with family members waiting for the others to finish using it so they can.

I don't even know where to start, I've been using projectors for many years now but none as ever been as fully packed as this Aetherion. Setting it up only takes a few minutes once you unbox it and the rest can be achieved with the built-in software when it comes to adjusting the focus and size of the projection, in my case i live in an old antique house so my walls aren't 100% straight and I don't use a projector screen or anything and yet the lasers are so powerful that i get a crispy image regardless if it's daytime or nighttime. The built-in speakers are truly great, the bass and everything feels like i also own a home theater system which to me is insane as there is so much things built into this thing. Overall i must admit that this won't be the projector for everyone as it is definitely on the expensive premium side, but if you can afford it, you absolutely should as this will be the best investment you can do for a projector!

J'ai même donné ma télé samsung à ma fille j'écoute tout avec mon projecteur, télé, film l'image est d'une qualité exceptionnelle en plus je n'ai que le Vision pro 3000 je ne peut m'imaginer avec le Vision pro 3500 peut-être coûteux à l'achat mais ça vaut la peine pour pouvoir regarder des bons films sur un écran de 100" si tu as les moyens n'hésitez pas vous ne serez pas déçu
