I have purchased this device in May 2024 from the seller & today it stopped powering. I checked the power cable it’s not from it, it works and powers other devices. The actual device is not working anymore. I need it repaired or replaced please. Thank you.

the device gets hot immediately after 1min ,,I hve changed the wire and still the same ,,I couldn’t even use it ,,even though I kept it nearby the AC and still it’s not working,,I don’t recommend it at all unless you want to waste your money.

worth buying

I have purchased carlinkit android 13.0 on 07 January 2025.The device is now not working, its keep on restarting itself and getting disconnected Tried several times, changed usb cable to still not working

Before writing this review, would sincerely advise to avoid watching videos while driving as this device provides that facility. Coming back to features and performance, this is an android box with all the features which a phone can have except a screen which is taken care by the car display to which it is connected using wired android auto feature in the car. One can install any application, watch videos, movies, play songs etc. Coming to its performance, this device is quite quick to load but gets really hot during operation which could be a point of concern. I have seen it reaching above 70 degree Centigrade during 30 mins of operation, using android maps. I did try following up with the seller to check if this is a normal behavior for the device to get that hot and will that damage the device, but i was told that it should work fine and if there are any issues, i should contact them. But to me, that temperature is too high for a device and can be damaging as there is no heat sync in the device which can absorb that heat. To solve this problem, i went for a TCE based mobile cooling pad which helps to maintain the temperature to around 40 degrees centigrade which is reasonable. While using the mobile cooling pad, i have used this device continuously for over 5 hours and did not face any issues. No slowness or hanging issues. I have installed CPUZ application on the device to keep track of CPU temperature which helps me keep track of the device temperature. Besides this heating issue, I did not find any other problem with this device after using it for over a month on daily basis with average run of around 2 hours daily. Recommended if you want to add versatility to your cars audio system. I am using it with Tata Harrier 2019 model and have tried with MG Hector 2023 model and have faced no issues. I have replaced the default Launcher with a custom launcher which has helped me improve the UI of the Android Box. There are few good launchers specially tailored to be used on Car displays available in the android playstore which can be used to enhance the UI as the one come in the box is average in look and feel.

It does the job. Very user friendly.value for money. Excellent connectivity. Speed is awesome. I love it.

I would say it's a 360degree entertainer and must have for car. The user interface is good. Since it has simcard, my car has became truly internet inside. Free wifi for all my family members, no disturbance of my phone and a big entertainment with all ott's for a long journey Drive safely
