4G LTE Cellular Security Camera Outdoor Wireless, Go Ranger PT+Solar Panel, No WiFi, 360° Animal Detection, 4K HD PTZ Trail Camera with Night Vision(No Glow), App Control, Live Streaming

This was my first excursion into surveillance and this device has not disappointed - it looks well made, smart and unobtrusive. Once the installation instructions are digested it, and the Solar Panel, were quick and easy to install and worked on the Smart Phone App with no issues and produces good live images and records video on the internal SD Card and easy to view alerts. The only issue was getting the same abilities on my Windows PC which was very important (to me) - turns out there no installation instructions and I couldn't get the PC App working but Reolink Support advised using the Camera's UID number to enable (which is on the camera's base - take a photo BEFORE installing!) and everything burst into life and very pleased. Currently I don't see any need for a subscription to a Cloud storage service. I have given 4*s as I can't make comparisons with any other products which may or may not be better and I did need to use Reolink's Support.

Camera arrived on date given. Very good packaging, camera very well made. Easy to set up, good instructions. The mounting bracket seemed a bit flimsy, but mounted OK. Just have to wait and see if the plastic is sturdy enough. Day vision is good and the night vision was better than the cameras I have at the moment. Good PTZ, though there can be some lag - you get used to it. Zoom is digital so don't expect fine detail. It has been mounted for over a week and batterie is at 65% from 100. Will mount solar panel when I get idea of camera life. Easy to mount and dismount via one thumb screw. Alerts to iPhone are good and sensitivity can be controlled. Quite happy with item and would recommend.

I bought this unit to watch the wildlife knocking about the garden, specifically the greenhouse where it was known that something was breaking in overnight to steal the bird food, but it wasn't clear what it was. It transpired that badgers were forcing their way in and, not having the good grace to close the door behind them, everything else in the neighborhood, including the local moggies, foxes, and mice were also in evidence. I was hoping for a little more clarity at night than is available, but given that the greenhouse is illumination at night is entirely dependant on the infra-red LED's in the camera, it may be that my expectations were a little high. The image quality in the day time is very good, however. The rechargeable battery life is to be commended. It will happily work for a couple of days before requiring a recharge. It has a feature that switches the camera onto a recording mode if something passes in front of it. With some experimentation, I managed to get this working, but even with the sensitivity set to maximum, something (e.g. me) had to pass quite close to the camera before it started working. It's designed for people, not wildlife, however, so I would surmise that if it was set up to watch the front door of a house, for example, then it would activate if someone approached the camera. Setting up the camera was a struggle; the WiFi configuration is overly complicated. However, having worked through the process the WiFi connectivity is pretty good and the connection stability has proven to be excellent. The interface to the camera, i.e. the phone app, is very poorly designed in my opinion. There are far too many poorly documented operational parameters buried in obscure menus. This makes configuring features difficult with the added bonus of terminology that is ambiguous and counter-intuitive. Some experimentation and lots of messing about and I think I've got most of the features figured out, but the app itself is dreadful. The last element that I was looking forward to using was the pan & tilt functionality. The ability to remote control the optics was the main reason why I chose a camera of this type. Unfortunately, the remote control from the phone app is so laggy as to be almost useless. The camera will rotate and allow the view up & down can be changed but the control of these parameters is extremely hit and miss. Moving the camera in real-time to track the action is almost impossible, it takes a considerable amount of time for the camera servo's to react to control input. This is extremely frustrating because nothing moves for a long period after control input.... then the camera overshoots. I've given up on it as a feature. For the purpose of setting the camera up to provide a static view, this remote operation allows the installer being able to stand in the target spot and frame the camera view without having to have a second person to wiggle the camera, so that's good. Being able to track a moving target with it, however, is very difficult to do; it's simply not practical given the poor control. It occurs to me that should the device be accessible enough to facilitate dismounting to facilitate recharging, then it will likely be accessible enough to walk off with. If this is intended as a security feature, then I would suggest that powering the camera from the optional solar panel or using a wired power installation, but for a mobile platform, the rechargeable battery is excellent; the two days run time between charges is pretty impressive. So, am I happy with it? The most disappointing thing about it is the very poor app, which is confusing to use from a configuration perspective and all but useless for camera remote control. The image quality is OK and the video footage I'm obtaining with it is fun, so I guess I am generally happy with my purchase. If I buy another it won't be this camera. I'll want a device that makes good on its promise to be able to pan & tilt accurately. But if all you're after is a static view of a spot, which to be fair is pretty much what this device was intended for, then it's probably not a bad way to go.

Surprised nobody has got back to me regarding this as the camera is great it is just the solar panel is not working as I had it tested cable broken

Love these cameras as battery powered so perfect for outside areas without power. Solid well made construction. The Reolink app is good too. Notifies you when camera is triggered. Easy to set up. Tip, Have camera near router on first set up. Only records video when triggered to preserve battery life. Or you can access anytime for live viewing and record then. Had one outside now for 6 months and hasn’t failed so I guess it’s got good waterproof seals. Great also for moving from room to room without having to unplug stuff and set up again. The quality of construction is very good. You can see why it’s a bit more expensive than others. PTZ is great too. All in all very happy and does the job well.

I bought it a while ago just set it up and has disappointed me. Night viewing isn't as clear as shows in images. Camera keeps moving and staying in strange positions even though I have a monitor point set. It is also not staying charge long at all from solar panel. This is directed to the sun at its highest point of the day and is 6/7m off the floor with nothing above it bar from the pole its mounted on. Had it set up just over a week and already had to fetch it home to charge.

Ok so this is my 4th keen trail camera The new 4k 8mp.. Great item the film quality is fantastic on both high and low settings. Great fully remote control live feed threw data or wife.. ive 1 set up at 7.6 miles away from my house and can monitor the badgers from the comfort of my home.. Reall easy set up. Can even talk threw it and has a siren built in to deter people ect.

J'ai cette caméra depuis quelques mois et j'en suis très satisfait. La détection de jour comme de nuit est très bonne, les notifications immédiates et les vidéos de très bonne qualité tant en direct que les des enregistrements. J'apprécie également la simplicité d'installation et de mise en route avec une longueur de câble permettant d'installer le panneau solaire à l'endroit souhaité pour une exposition solaire la meilleure. Je recommande cette caméra et j'envisage l'achat d'un second modèle pour le devant de notre maison.

comme convenue bon article ,un peut limité en distance genre 10m après dur de détecté mai fait le boulot

I use this camera to check on the fox family that lives behind my garden. The camera is as advertised and very easy to use. Reolink customer service is premium. What a wonderful helpdesk! I cannot say enough about them and they have earned a loyal customer!! Thank you!!

Il s'agit de mon second modèle de chez réolink. J'en suis très satisfait il fonctionne très bien et est très simple de configuration. Je rajoute tout de même un peu de silicone pour renforcer l'étanchéité du câble du panneaux solaire qui rentre dans la caméra. J'ai perdu la connexion avec la caméra en juillet 2025 pour un matériel acquis en novembre 2024. Aucune explication sur le problème rencontré. SAV réactif qui m'a répondu rapidement, pour un renvoi de la caméra sans le panneau solaire pour expertise. J'ai reçu rapidement une caméra neuve complète en remplacement (avec la panneau). Je suis donc très content de mes matériels REOLINK, mais je commence à me poser des questions sur leur fiabilité. En effet celle ci décroit rapidement avec le temps. Heureusement que le SAV est excellent.
