Bought 4 of these as my old 7” shelf basically neared collapse after decades of moving it about. These fit the bill to replace the shelf. The boxes are good value with regard to protecting the records, their storage capacity is pretty impressive, I have a lot of 7” singles and you get maybe 50-60 into a box. Their functionality is as expected. Their look in black is subtle and non-garish, which is important. They don’t lock per se, they fold over and I will have to consider over time whether or not they need to be monitored for mould. Build quality is collapseable and it suits me that they do. All in all, so far, mould fears aside, they seem to be ideal for my records. They fit nicely at the foot of my turntable and don’t look out of place.

A cheap solution to storing records safely. Can be a little heavy when full, I got 51 albums in. I found the two velcro closures a bit hit and miss, maybe a complete strip of velcro along the front would be better. 1 star taken off for this.

Exactly what you would expect. Not as solid or secure as a hard case but much lighter and better value. The correct size for 12 inch records, and holds roughly 70 as advertised. The handles feel a bit risky when it's full, but haven't broken so can't complain!

This thing is great! Even though it's a fabric like material, it holds the records well as it's reinforced. I wouldn't want to carry a full one far by the handles as they are only stitched on but the stitching and build quality is good but would be ideal for moving house with a vinyl collection, carrying to and from the car, or short term storage for example. Not lockable at all, only has velcro to hold it closed.

Comes flat in a packet but is an absolute doddle to pop into shape. The box is surprisingly sturdy and holds plenty of singles. It will hold a few less than stated if, like me, you use protective sleeves. Simple velcro clasp to keep the box shut. I have 2 so far and ordered another for a family member as he liked the design and quality too.

The description of this product is a little confusing. In the title description it reads the record crates hold up to 60 records, but yet in the product descriptions it says there's enough space to accommodate over 90 single player albums. I can confirm that there's room enough for 90 singles. So if you have between 60 and 90 singles you really only need one of these. Also, the majority of my singles are in plastic sleeves, and this does not seem to make a difference - they still fit. Also keep in mind that the lids don't close correctly. I mean they still close, but not completely. I really don't know if this is due to the velcro closure or down to the materials used. At first I thought this was a problem caused by all the extra plastic that I use to protect my records, but it's not. I took all my records out and then tried closing the lid - same problem. I would say this is a combination of materials used that's causing this problem. I don't see it as a big deal, but someone else might. The containers are very nice and sturdy. I do like the fact that this isn't a big and bulky product with pointless add-ons. It's simple and to the point. They have handles at the sides so it makes it very easy to carry - even when they're full of records. I recommend them because they're an easy storage solution if you have a lot of records and the price is decent.
