There are no loose screws or wobbly joints, and the build quality is excellent. デスクトップPCのサブ・モニターやスマホのサブ機、iPadなどのモニター系デバイスが増えたため、 デスク直置きでは不便なので手ごろなデスク用スタンドを探していたところ、良さそうなので購入。 求める機能は、 １．デバイスを置く「ツメ」はサブモニターが置けるようになるべく広いこと（本品は約17mm）。 ２．デバイスを置く「ツメ」はストレートではなく、途中で途切れていること（充電ケーブルを通すため）。 ３．スタンドアームは伸縮式や1本ではなく、途中で曲げることができるもの（重心の調節がしやすいから。本品は二重構造）。 ４．スタンドを固定したままデバイスの向きを変えられるもの（本品は360度回転）。 ５．スタンドは丸形（長方形だと置き場所が限定される）。 以上が絶対条件で、これらの条件をクリアする製品はあまりなかったのだが、もちろん本品はそのすべてを満たしている。 そして、さらに本品は価格が安いことも選択理由（後述）。 もちろん、価格が安ければ高額商品より劣る部分も出てくると思うが、スタンドアームは固すぎず柔らかすぎず 丁度いい感じだし（一度ポジションを決めればそんなに伸び縮させることはないだろう）、スマホに厚めの手帳型 カバーを付けたまま置いても、「ツメ」が良い感じに反っているのでそこに引っかかって落ちてこない。 ちなみにiPad Air10.9インチも乗ります。 重量は、商品説明に184g（軽めのスマホ１台分）とあるが、もう少し軽く感じる。 安定性を印象付けるため重めに記載しているのだろうか？ しかし、携帯性を考えると「重すぎる」のも考え物で（私は持ち歩くつもりはない）、この商品は良いバランス になっていると思う。 最後に、2つセットで税込み\1400未満というのも良い。 本商品の用途は、スマホやタブレットPCを置くだけでなく、モバイルバッテリーを充電時に置いたり、鑑賞中の CDやブルーレイのケースを置いたり、ヘッドホン用のポータブル・アンプ（本当に小さいやつだけ）を置いたり、 小型のUSB充電ステーションやUSBハブを置いたり、ユーザーの工夫次第でさまざまに応用できるでしょう
