I used these yesterday and they are just like using a paint brush, the nib splits if you catch it on something and it behaves like a brush with hair on the end. Super juicy, I used it on watercolour board and with the water brush created some fantastic simple flowers. I will have to buy the bigger packs, because they are very addictive and so easy to use, just like using a usual paintbrush

I haven't used watercolours before but wanted to give it a go so thought I'd try these out to start. Found them really simple and easy to use for a beginner - I used the pens to sketch just like any other pen and then blended with the water pen to turn it into a painting. Truly amazing quality and pigmentation! The colours are very vibrant and strong but blend out beautifully when water added. Only minus is the package, it isn't really usable in the long run. It is beautiful, but the pens have to be moved to some sort of pencase. But this either wasn't an expectation. But if I had to give something to work on, it would be a package that could be used for the pens.

The colours are great, and the water pen is very handy. I like the ways in which you can blend colour too. Sometimes the brush can be a little soft so that it's hard to get a really fine line, but you'd probably not use these for details anyway. For everything else, they're handy and very good value for money, as long as they last a while.

What I love about them: Easy to handle/control as they work just like a pencil. Relatively easy to blend. However, I found results were better when I applied water to the page FIRST. Good range of colours. I live the blending pen; nice and clean, easy to use and gives good results. And I love the price. For the money, I don't think they can be beaten. What I think could be improved: Not so easy to blend when water isn't applied first. When only wanting a very light shade of something, you can sometimes see the point where the paint was applied after you've finished blending. They dont last too long...not too much paint inside the pens.

I bought these for my daughter who loves art and wants to be an Artist/Animator! She has used these paintbrushes and has initially found them to be really good and easy to use as she has not had too much experience with watercolour painting; she has always daunted it but has found these brushes to be a brilliant introduction to all things watercolour creating! The colours are very vibrant and strong but blend out beautifully when water added. Her first piece of work using these brushes was a lot smoother than she was probably expecting! She has said that she feels this product will help her with her technique of improving her watercolour painting in the future. We would definitely recommend this product and will more than likely purchase again in the future.

These pens have a tip like a good quality art brush, so you can produce delicate strokes. I can imagine they would be good for calligraphy too. You can use them like pens or put water in one of them and this turns the colour into delicate water colour when you put water on the colours. Would also make a lovely gift for people who like painting but don't want the mess or expense or who like painting by numbers or using colouring books.

pinceaux-feutres reçu rapidement, bien emballés, mais le noir donne l'impression d'avoir été déjà utilisé ou, en tout cas, maltraité! impossible de l'utiliser pour faire des traits fins, les poils n'étant plus solidaires! dommage! rectificatif : le vendeur a été contacté et a tenu à remplacer le feutre, intégralement à sa charge! merci pour ce geste que nous avons grandement apprécié!!
