Good comfort, good fit, improve your ANC
Very comfortable good fit, also improved the seal for noise canceling. They also keep the ear buds in my ear if I choose to sleep with them in. And the fit was good and multi-purposed. I purchased these for a Skullcandy Method 540, which is really a Bose QuietComfort 2 / ultra. This also happened to fit on my Jlabs Jbuds ANC earbuds.

Makes good Bose ear-buds great.
I recently upgraded from my old headphones to a pair of Bose wireless earbuds. My excitement about the new and expensive purchase quickly dwindled when I wore them to the gym for the first time. With the rubber ear inserts I felt like I could hear everything, was constantly adjusting them, and that there was no way they were going to stay in when I was running. I so frustrated that I was about to return the earbuds all together. After doing some research, I found these and thought why not give them a try. If you have never tried the foam ear tips like these you will be amazed the first time you do. I ordered these based off of the rubber sized ones that I was using and the sizing was perfect. These simply pop on and even come with a guard for ear-wax built in. They fit my ears perfectly and seal out most of the outside noise in conjunction with the noise canceling feature of the headphones. I don’t know why Bose doesn’t just ship their headphones with these. I have been using them for months almost daily and haven’t seen any signs of wear. These are great and a must have.

Good, could be better
I mainly bought these because not a single ear tip replacement for Bose has a screen that protects the device from earwax. These tips do that job fairly well. The mesh doesn't hold up to too much pressure so you have to be gentle when cleaning. I find the foam a bit too firm. Lastly, they're pretty expensive for what they are.

DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU LIKE FLUSHING $400 DOWN THE DRAIN
There are plenty of trash products being sold on Amazon and this is officially the worst I've encountered. I bought these to replace a damaged OEM silicone earbud cover (I now deeply regret not waiting the three weeks estimated by Bose website to ship theirs and you will soon learn why) and immediately found them to be stiff and uncomfortable. The instructions on the packaging tell you to compress them before inserting into your ear, which is difficult to do because you can't exactly squish these all the way down like Mack's foam earplugs. There's only so much give, not least because Bose QuietComfort IIs are pretty delicate and you can't just crush the foam into the sides. Still, I thought may be if I practiced a bit, I might discover a trick to getting the fit to improve or at the very least, acclimate to the feeling. I tried all three sizes and none of them fit that well but I settled on giving myself a couple of days to adjust to Medium. Due to the poor fit, it can't create a proper seal, thereby rendering the NC functionality moot. I decided to return these and in the first few seconds of trying to gently remove the replacement bud, it SNAPPED OFF the end of my right earbud and now WON'T COME OFF. And just like that, poof! $400 on fastidiously cared-for earbuds GONE. I couldn't get a clear enough photo of the wires being exposed, so I have instead attached a video to demonstrate the extent of the damage. As you can see, the end is now completely mobile – not what it's supposed to do. The earbud is unusable and makes a painful crackling sound in that ear. Thanks a lot, Comply!

Resolves earbuds from falling out.
I was going to look for different earbuds as these new quiet comfort ones kept falling out. So glad I got these. They are not as securer as the older model that has the ear braces, but good enough as I’ve worn them a few times now without them falling out.

Not as effective noise cancellation as original tips
I'm using size large to replace the original large tips that came with my earbuds. After switching to these tips, I quickly noticed that I could hear noises which used to be blocked out by active noise cancellation when I was using the original, stock tips. I was surprised by this, because I thought the extra foam padding would block out some extra noise, but it seems like it actually interferes with the ANC somehow. On a more positive note, others have mentioned that they're very difficult to remove, but fortunately I didn't find this to be the case. As long as you're careful, and remove the tips from the top or bottom of the bud (not the sides), there should be no problem. Lastly, the memory foam doesn't seem particularly high quality, and it's worth noting that each pair of tips is only supposed to last for 2-3 months. There's no way these are worth this premium price.

No difference
If you are like I was, searching for replacement tips for your Bose QC earbuds which will not stay in your ears reliably with the original tips, this will not solve your problem. They do not stay in my ears significantly better than the originals do. They also do not degrade the audio quality as others have said they do, so that's good, but my experience with these has been pretty much identical to my experience with the factory Bose silicon chips. They fall out shortly after I open my mouth for any reason. Sound familiar? I know you don't want to be reading this because, like me, you are desperately hoping for a solution to this problem. Sadly, this is not it.

Well worth it in my case
The tips provided by Bose for the QC 2 didn’t work for me. My skin gets oily, as well as my ears, and the silicone tips can never stay seated in my ears for long. Even when they’re in tight they feel like they’re sliding out and I need to readjust them constantly. I have similar tips for my AirPod Pro 2 so I thought I’d give these a shot. They’re exactly what I needed! The QC 2 now stay put in my ears with no issue. I can even move around/work out/run and they still stay put. Sound quality does sound a tad bit muffled but the trade off for having ear buds that I can actually use and that stay in my ears is worth it. I will NOT be going back to the factory/oem silicone tips. For those complaining about ANC degradation I found that by linking my QC 2 with the Bose app on my iPhone I was able to make sure the proper noise cancellation mode was always selected, which should be “Immersive” if you want maximum strength ANC. The noise cancellation is still superb, and if anything more noise seems to be blocked out for me due to the ear buds having a tighter seal. All in all a worthy purchase for me. YMMV but for those who have trouble with the stock silicone tips always moving around and having to readjust give these a shot.

Super useful and worth it
That seal first of all was not comfortable, but bearable and really satisfying. Comparing it with Bose's stock eartips, these ones cut the noise leakage in half (in my experience at least). And all this experience took place in a shopping mall. You know it's doing its job when you feel its grip around the entrance of your ear canal. And the price tag was worth it. It's maximizing the effectivity of one of the best noise cancelling earbuds in the world by having this. Worth the wait (coz I had to wait for Comply to make a Bose QC II version). Was just hoping they'd also come in Sandstone (well black and white works together anyway so it's a bearable inconvenience).

Verliezen snel hun vorm

A genuine upgrade
With the standard Bose QuietComfort Ultra (Gen 1) buds silicone tips there is zero protection for the mesh on the nozzles, which are incredibly difficult to clean. These foam tips have a filter which protects this delicate part. These are also much better quality than the set of Comply foam tips I purchased in 2024 through Amazon. They’re more consistent and uniformed when comparing each foam tip. It’s nice to see this. Credit where it’s due.
