I have older packing cubes that don't do any compression. These are an upgrade, because you unzip the compression zipper, pack the cube full, then zip the compression zipper back up and it really helps save some space. Good quality.

I recently went on a trip with my daughter and decided to give these a try. We tend to be over packers. I bought us each a set, in different colors. These worked great! We shared a suitcase and these cubes kept our clothes very nice and organized, as well as compressed. I couldn’t believe we actually had room left in the suitcase. These cubes are sturdy and come in a nice variety of sizes to fit your different kinds of clothing.

These bag smart pouch cubes are a great addition to packing on a trip. I just used them and they’re great to keep your items organized! They are soft, expandable and the zipper glides well without a struggle.

This is my first time trying compression cubes for packing. First, the pros: the bags were reasonably priced. There are various sizes to fit every need and would come in handy for organizing one's items in a suitcase. The compression zipper held up when trying to compress jeans, a raincoat and some tee shirts. Now the cons: this is a comment regarding compression cubes in general. If you are already an efficient packer (which I am), compression cubes will offer no advantage over thoughtful arrangement of your items and manually compressing them so as to leave very little unused space in your suitcase. Rolling up your clothes tightly and stuffing small items like underwear, socks and small medicine bottles in all the nooks and crannies in between your bulkier items like shoes, your toiletry kit, etc. will enable you to fit much more in your suitcase than using compression cubes. Bear in mind that nothing will reduce the mass of solid material that you put in the cube. Compression cubes will only help if you tend to leave air space between your items. They will not work for dense items like heavy pants or jackets that are efficiently folded or tightly rolled up. I tried stuffing the largest cube with such items and was able to zip it up almost all the way, but the cube was very misshapen, with all the mass concentrated in the center. It became shaped more like a football than a cube. Not a useful shape for optimizing packing space! I do think I could use these cubes just for organization (not compression!) like using them as shoe bags or medicine pouches, so they are not a total waste. Although if I had known that the compression aspect of it didn't really work that well, I probably would not have bought them. I gave it 4 stars because the bags seem well made and could be useful for someone who is in a hurry and may not have time to pack efficiently on his or her own.

I travel frequently and usually struggle to close my suitcase, so I decided to give these BAGSMART compression cubes a try. I am honestly impressed by how much space they save. What fits: In the Extra Large cube, I managed to fit a thick winter puffy jacket and a hoodie. Once I used the compression zipper, it shrank down to about half the thickness. The Large cube easily held 4 pairs of jeans and 2 slacks. The Medium is perfect for T-shirts (I fit about 7 rolled up), and the Small is great for socks and undergarments. The Quality: My biggest worry was the zippers, since compression cubes put a lot of tension on them. These use smooth double zippers that feel very sturdy. I didn't feel like they were going to snag or burst even when I really stuffed them full. The fabric is lightweight but doesn't feel cheap or paper-thin. Bonus: The inclusion of the separate laundry bag and shoe bag is a huge plus. It keeps my clean clothes separated from my gym shoes and dirty laundry on the return trip. If you are on the fence about compression vs. regular cubes, definitely go with these. They essentially gave me 40% more room in my carry-on.

Purchased these because a friend told me they were absolutely amazing. They are good bags, but I had already previously purchased another brand that works just as well as these. Needless to say, I also kept these for the variety of sizes for an incredibly reasonable price. Extremely helpful, organizing clothing when packing.

For the price, I really like these. They compress a decent amount and the zippers work really well. Bags from other high-end brands go for 3 to 4 times the price. So far, I’ve used them on two trips and they work perfectly for me.

I recently used these for the first time and so really like them, so great so far. They make packing easier. I usually keep some clothes in my suitcase and I sit my suitcase up on its end. These keep things in place.

These are the second compression bags that I have purchased and they do not disappoint.
