- Cat Harness and Leash Set - Escape Proof Adjustable Cat Harness, Comfortable Soft Lightweight, Use Safe & Easy, Walking Travel Kitten Harness for Small Medium Large Cats (Hawaii Green)

After trying out the "new version" of this harness set up from PetThem, I've come to the conclusion that newer isn't always better! I have had issue with the newer harness as my buddy was able to easily slip out of it making it useless to use outside. So I went on the search for another harness and found this one by the same company. I am pleased with the quality this company has with its products so I wasn't scratching them off yet. This harness the quality was also high and actually is better too. Thanks to it have actual real adjustments that can me made, I was able to it escape proof. The design is just better and I was pleased to see the clips were not the break away kind. Break away clips are nice to have with collars for obvious reasons but with a harness to make sure your buddy is with in your close supervision, they definitely don't need break away. I tested it after clasping them together and pulling hard to see if they would break away and they didn't, perfect! So I simply sized the neck collar portion of the harness like his regular collar making sure a finger can easily slip between him and the material once clasped. Then I adjusted the back strap to be sure it was tight enough that he would be able to wiggle his arms back through. So now it is secure but also not uncomfortably tight on him either. The eyelet is in the middle of the two straps which is great because it allows the leash to be out of his way but also if I have to pull him back, I doesn't force the front of the collar to go against his head. This is a design flaw with others I've had close to this one. They would have the leash connect on the front collar part which can make it easier to slip over your buddy's head. The material has a nice pattern with a matching leash which is exceptionally longer than I had expected it to be. You can easily use any other leash with this harness if you wish but the matching one is perfect as is. It does not stretch though mind you so if they decide to start running away, they will get stopped abruptly. Though with position of the eyelet to connect the harness as mentioned earlier, they shouldn't be harmed. Over all this is finally the harness I've been looked by for to replace his older one that he grew out of. And there is so much adjustment that can be made still as he continues to grow over the years. So my advice to PetThem is to keep this design in the forefront or keep in mind the points that make it so great when looking into moving on to a different design. Overall for the safety of your furry friends who wish to enjoy the outdoors, this harness is highly recommended by me and Midnight even gives it two paws!

Really nice build quality looks fantastic on my 10lb black cat. He can't slip this one because it fits proper unlike most of the ones in the store. This is easily the nicest harness leash set I have purchased.

This harness is excellent. It’s not restrictive and does not restrict full range of motion but at the same time it’s not one that will easily slip off. We’ve been working to train our cat to walk on a harness since she was four months old, but most of the harnesses were too large as she was very small. Now that she’s a year old, this harness fit perfectly. This is a great choice for an older kitten six months and older. Our cat is a year old. She seems to be OK with the comfort of the harness as it is not rigid. The value for the money is perfect as I purchased more expensive padded harnesses that did not work well at all. I love that the leash is detachable and that the harness is lightweight enough to leave on her so that she gets used to wearing it in conjunction with her collar.

Its cute, but not really large cat friendly, the adjustable collar on the harness is nice, but the buckle part is good but the fabric isnt long enough, my cat is able to walk around and lay down, but the chest adjustable isnt very big, its kind of tight on my cat, my cat cant slip out of the harness but it is a little to tight for large cats, so be aware of that if you have a large cat

I did not think this was going to work for my cat but it worked and she liked being able to go outside at our new apartment. It seemed to fit really well and it was soft, cute and seemed comfortable. She was happy to be able to go outside. This video is the very first time I put it on her.

This was a fantastic harness for our kittens , built well and durable. Once one of our males reached about 13 pounds (at nine months) it became a little bit of a squeeze, there is no upsize from what I can tell, because I would certainly buy one if there was based on the quality alone, This guy just won’t stop growing!

My cat has done incredibly well with this harness. She is comfortable in it and moves naturally and easily while walking. I did need to train her to get used to the leash, and what worked best was putting the harness on her every day—even if it was just for 30 seconds to one minute—until she became comfortable wearing it. I did not use any treats during training. Each day, when I put it on and took it off, I simply praised her so she would associate the harness with something positive. That consistency really helped build her confidence. Even now, whenever we go outside, I praise her for a job well done each time I put the harness on and take it off. Once she adjusted, I started walking her in the garage where there was minimal noise and fewer distractions. That made a big difference. After that, she was a pro! She now confidently walks outside on our back patio and truly enjoys spending time outdoors. The harness is easy to adjust and very simple to put on and take off. The leash is also long enough for my purposes, giving her room to explore while still keeping her safe and secure. Even when she’s so excited and darts out the door for her daily walks, she is completely secure. As a side note, I previously tried a vest-style harness, and she completely refused to wear it. I believe the bulkiness made her uncomfortable. This harness, however, fits well without feeling heavy, and she clearly prefers it. I’m so happy I found this one—it has made outdoor time enjoyable for both of us!

Good quality. Works well for my 9lb cat and she hasn't been able to slip out of them. I would advise against these for larger cats though. Fits my smaller cats well but it definitely would not work for my 16lb and 25lb cats.
