Great machine and it's definitely. a better alternative to the traditional way we indulge in the bad habit of smoking. The machine is shiny and looks great, so definitely not as trashy as carrying a box of cigarettes around around or a bag of backy. The machine and the intensity of the tobacco sticks is great and has completely replaced my cigarette habit. I use the EVO bronze tobacco sticks and they only cost £4.5 a box so less than a third of a cigarette pack cost, no smell, no after taste, little to no smoke, and inconspicuous. it doesn't smell like the iqos, as that literally stinks after two uses, where as this smells fine. comments I got about the smell are between caramel and popcorn. so I'm glad I no longer stink of smoke. its also less obvious as there isn't much smoke coming out of it so you could technically get away with your nicotine indulgence anywhere, not that I would encourage you to do so. the similarity between this and iqos are the concept: they both heat tobacco. the differences : - Ploom is one machine, it holds over a full days use battery, where as iqos has to have its battery pack carried around. - this heats the tobacco stick from the outside, whereas iqos has a metal stud that goes inside the tobacco stick and heats it from the inside. due to the last point, the iqos leaves a lot of tobacco residue inside the machine which quickly turns to a terrible scent and taste, where as the Ploom doesn't. if you're going to use heated tobacco, use ploom.

Nice smoke

The burning tobacco tastes aweful, made me feel sick, cannot taste my tabacco, I’ll be returning it! My usual tabacco stick approx 7 cm didn’t fit, half was sticking out, so burning half way along the stick.
