Pretty little toaster that likes to blacken bread.
The toaster is a beauty, and looks lovely on the counter. As far as function, it has been a disappointment. On the lowest settings of 1 or 2 it makes the toast dark and hard. It wil burn and blacken on any of the higher settings. We bought in in May this year while remodeling our kitchen. The remodel took longer than thought, and we were not able to use it until late June. It has only had light and occasional use. We clean the bread tray with frequency. For this price, this is just not acceptable. I contacted Laura Ashley, and m hoping they can offer a solution.
