The product is sturdy and solid, but has a strong pungent chemical smell. Laid it outside for a few days, washed it but smell is not going away. Had to use in for the garage but looks like will have to return it now, not usable..

Very good quality and works great as a transition.

Works well for me as an indoor jam. My decorator friend does not like it as he would rather I use some more expensive but I have a black door that has a high hurricane threshold that I was constantly stubbing my toe on. So this was a good solution

Bought this for my moms house. There's a small increase in height from bedrooms to the hallway. My mother uses a walker and at times a wheel chair. Also my brother is special needs and doesn't always lift his feet all the way when walking. So, needless to say we needed to find something to bridge the gap between rooms and hallways. I chose this one because it seemed adjustable (height/thickness/length). I did this by shaving the underside (height) and cutting to desired length. I was able to do this with a box cutter type tool. This took quite a while to do and was very tedious, but got it done. The only reason for the four stars is due to it being so difficult to cut long strip in to three different strips. I measured the doorways and cut to fit. However I alone was not able to do this. I was fortunate my husband was able to do it. Without his strength to say it would be difficult would be an understatement. Overall though very pleased with this product and has been working out well for a year now. Still very sturdy, has kept its shape, and don't see any issues with it for years to come. It is being used indoors and not exposed to the elements.

I have a sliding glass door between the kitchen and sun room. The bottom of the door is at the same level of the floors on either side, and people were tripping on the raised threshold. These strips are perfect for me. The rubber is easily cut to make the strips the correct length, and the height is perfect for the lip to sit on top of the door threshold. I put one in the kitchen and one in the sun room, and no one trips anymore. Obviously, the door has to be open to use the strips, so we remove them when not needed.
