Weaning at 4 months and baby loves the soft tips of these spoons. I wouldn't recommend for older babies as they are very small. Perfect for first weaning!

great spoons, nice and small for first weaning. i love the metal handle and my baby loves the soft scoop.

I love these spoons and my son can easily feed from them and they're not uncomfortable on his gums so no complaints there! I love that the tip changes to white to let you know if the food is too hot as safety is important to me as a mother. The only reason I gave them a 4 not a 5 is because unfortunately if anything orange or red (tomato based) is given it can stain them :( I know that most feeding spoons do this these days but the colours are so pretty that I wouldn't want to ruin them! I now only use the pink spoon for such food and the other 3 for non stainable foods. My friend who's pregnant with her 2nd baby has seen mine, and already wants to buy some for her next when the time comes! Would recommend these to anyone as they really are fab, and alot easier to get than the similar Gerber ones which are in sale over in the US.

Nice and soft spoons but cannot be used with anything red, orange, pink or purple or it will be stained! They will still be ok to use but they will look horrible!

Great item and I love that they are sort of old fashioned with the traditional metal handle with the plastic soft itpped end, only thing is whilst novel that they are temp reactive, is it necessary? Mainly because the spoon that my mum kept from when I was little is still that baby pink colour and not stained whilst todays versions stained with the first application of baby bolognese. So I now have a varying shades from yucky green to dirty is it purple or brown etc. Beyond that the quality of the item is fab, and they are perfect size and depth for little baby mouths, just keep with baby rice and such cause anything with a tomatoe base is going to change the colour of them sadly

The size and shape of the spoons are perfect for feeding babies (particularly when first starting solids and they don't have the knack of it yet) because the bowl of the spoons aren't too deep so food doesn't get stuck, while the width is nice and narrow so you can fit it easily into wee baby mouths. The silicone coating makes it gentle on their teeth if they're an early teether (which mine is), while the metal means that I don't have to worry about exposing my child unnecessarily to microplastics, and that it will last. However, the white hot safety feature becomes less effective if you feed solids that have high pigmentation like sweet potato. The silicone has turned a tiny bit orange so the white hot isn't as clear. But that isn't really an issue for me, since I wouldn't rely on that feature to determine temperature, we don't serve the food hot (warm or lukewarm at most), and I prefer to just feel test the temperature of the food beforehand anyways.
