Bountiful Flavor
Iโve never, ever had raisins so full of flavor. Theyโre moist and plump and great for baking, delicious in snacks and mixes, and fabulous in oatmeal! I havenโt eaten raisins by the fistful since I was a child. I love this company. Love their cashews and other nuts. Iโm not one to write reviews, but Braga truly has earned the positive feedback.

Best raisins I have found yet!
I am always looking for good organic raisins and they are so hard to find. I was able to get organic sultanas and love them but now both brands I was getting are unavailable so I was back on the hunt. Decided to give these a try based on the reviews I read and I am so glad I did. These are large and soft but not too sweet or strong tasting like many Thompson raisins I have come across. I use raisins for sweetening my homemade chocolate and these are not only great for that but I can hardly stop snacking from them straight from the bag! SO GOOD!

Rich tasting and standard to jumbo sized
I like that these raisins have a rich taste. Their size varies from a standard raisin to a larger version. (Standards being about a half an inch to larger being 3/4 of an inch.) I havenโt found too many to be larger than this but the taste won me over so I no longer cared about the size. These are plump and have a nice meaty texture that made the purchase worth it.

Quality product!
I am impressed with this company so far. I have ordered several bags of walnuts that were delicious, and now these raisins. They are tasty and healthy in appearance. I typically avoid oil altogether, but they use so little that it is less than one gram of saturated fat per serving, and I'm ok with that. The flavor is tasty, but not knock-your-socks-off good...then again, I probably have not eaten enough "naked" raisins to know one at its peak (they are so often accompanied by sugar). Try this brand, and you will be a returning customer. Now if only they sold organic cashews...

Price vs Quality is Unconscionable: Highway Robbery!
I first tasted flame raisins purchased from a health foods store in northern Indiana around 1995: the flavor and quality were overwhelming. And I was transported back in time to the memories of fruit cake from my childhood many decades earlier: this was the raisin flavor I have tasted in those fruit cakes and it was like getting welcomed back home after so long a time. What a moment! Those raisins were my favorite part of the fruit cake, and then I realized just why: their flavor was more rich and more wholesome than just being sweet. So I know what a good flame raisin tastes like and the Braga item for sale here does not even begin to compare. The price vs. the quality is unconscionable for the following reasons: 1. The flavor of these raisins is not that rich and they almost taste like Thompson seedless (not that that is a bad flavor, but when we are going for the flame raisin taste, we do not want the "Thompson sweet" taste). 2. Perhaps worst of all, for those in the know: seed oils are terrible for one's overall health picture and these have been coated with sunflower oil. While I have a Kangen water machine and can use 9.5 alkaline water to emulsify off most of the oil, I did not pay $12.50/lb to have to do that. You would think people raising/selling organic products would know better. If you avoid seed oils, don't buy this product. This company has lost my patronage and I will search onward for a flame raisin with better quality at a fair price. These are not worth $1.00/pound.
