Does this freeze well after it is made. I'm only person in household and it is too much for one? thanks

Yes, I add apples and pork sausage to the stuffing and freeze any left overs after cooking which freezes very well.

How much butter and chicken broth do you use for four boxes of stove top

If your using chicken broth in place of water it’s 5 cups broth 1 cup butter for 4 boxes of box stuffing

Bought 3.6 lbs. (chix) bag thinking it was 6 unboxed bags (serves 48). Needs measurements for 'separate' herb mix and breadcrumbs for 1-2 servings.

My standard single serving is 2/3 cup Stovetop mix. 2/3 Tbsp margarine, and about halfway between 1/3 and1/2 cup water. A handy trick that I use for a really good "baked-in-the-bird" flavor is that I fill the measuring cup to about half of the desired water amount with he juice from the cooked chicken before filling the rest with water. It makes for a really tasty stuffing.
