The Legion Go is a great gaming handheld console, although not perfect. Design: The screen is beautiful and really good for watching movies, and the console's integrated kickstand makes it really easy to just prop the console up and enjoy. The Legion Go has 2 USB C ports - one on the top and one on the bottom, which is really useful from a practicality perspective, especially when gaming as you're not restricted to one port for charging. The trackpad is a very useful inclusion, and makes navigating Windows much easier. The detachable joysticks are a really useful feature - you can prop up the display using the kickstand on a desk and use the detachable joysticks to game. It could be made better if there was some sort of accessory (similar to the Nintendo Switch) with which you could connect the two joysticks, as it does feel a little bit weird having two separate controllers. Setup: The Legion Go has Windows 11, which is a bit of a double-edged sword - you do get a lot more freedom as standard compared to the Steam Deck, especially as it is easier to use games from Xbox Game Pass, Epic Games, Ubisoft Connect etc., but it does come at the cost of the Legion Go being much less plug and play as compared to the Steam Deck. On first use you should update Windows and all the drivers - Windows does auto-update on initial setup, however you should check for updates to ensure your device is up to date. Lenovo also has a handy auto-driver update tool on their website, which updates all drivers and even the BIOS, but still expect initial setup to take a couple of hours. Legion Software: This is an area where the Legion Go is a bit of a let-down, as it's software isn't as fleshed out as the Steam Deck or even the ROG Ally. If you are quite good with tech and setting up different settings etc., then you won't have an issue. but if you prefer having a more streamlined experience, then it may be better to look elsewhere. Also, Lenovo has been slow to update drivers and software, especially compared to Asus with their ROG Ally, which is something you may want to keep in mind. Lenovo has however been quite active on social media in terms of communication, which is admirable. Gameplay: Gameplay is what you would expect from the Z1 extreme chip, and pretty much on par with other handhelds such as the ROG Ally which also have this chip. There's also plenty of guides online to optimise gameplay, such as changing the VRAM to 6GB in the BIOS. Obviously don't expect to game with settings cranked to max, but the Legion Go still provides a very respectable gaming performance. Battery: Battery life ranges from 1.5-3 hours depending on the game you are playing. If you are travelling, then I would highly recommend you invest in a large power bank capable of providing at least 60W of power. Conclusion: The Legion Go is a solid device and I am loving it so far, although it does have a few issues. However, it is my preference when compared to the Steam Deck and ROG Ally, mainly due to the detachable joysticks, kickstand, lovely screen and my preference for having Windows, despite the additional work it requires as compared to SteamOS.

I think this little machine is a fantastic way to play games on the go. The screen is really bright, a fantastic max resolution of the built in 1560x1600 touch screen is sharp and colourful. Screen refresh rate can be changed via Lenovo's quick access menu to change video settings on the fly. This screen (especially with the kickstand) would be fantastic for movie watching or YouTube browsing and of course Gaming! Although it is not the world most powerful mobile windows 11 machine, it still has plenty of power to play some lighter titles at higher framerate or some AAA titles at lower resolutions or framerates. This little machine has really impressed me overall. i could quite happily play fallout 4 on a mix of med/high settings, in diamond city ( demanding part of the game) and get around 45FPS, which on controller feels surprisingly smooth. Battery Life could be better, however on the 30W max performance setting, I'm getting around an hour on some more demanding titles while on battery power alone. Overall, this may struggle with AAA titles on higher res or game settings, but can once turned down, it can play it very nicely. For any other controller supported game, this is a fantastic way to play games on the go. I had a 3050TI Gaming laptop before, however I would choose this all day every day over a Gaming laptop for the ease of portability in the back of a car, on a plane or sitting on the living room sofa. The only thing I don't enjoy about this machine is the quality of the speakers, as they are really tinny and not very good quality. They do get fairly loud for the device if you turn up the volume, however I would recommend some earbuds or headphones if you're a serious gamer or movie watcher. screen: 9/10 Speakers: 3/10 Controllers: 9/10 battery life: 6/10 performance: 8/10 Overall: 8.5/10 Fantastic Device & and I look forward to using it every time I get The chance./ Would Recormend!!

I was debating for a long time between the Legion Go and the ROG Ally - with the latter's well-known SD card issues being one off-putting factor, but also the fact the LeGo has a larger screen enamored me to it. And I'm glad it did. It's a fantastic little device - basically a gaming PC in the same sort of form factor (including removable joycon type controllers) as a Nintendo Switch, but with a gorgeous big screen. It runs most things you can throw at it pretty well - and if you do some research into the five pound app "Lossless Scaling" you'll get even more FPS than you thought possible, which takes it up a level. The battery life is probably the only negative factor - that and the weight, it's a hefty device - but I tend to play plugged in anyway, so that doesn't bother me so much. It's responsive, the screen looks lovely, and it lets you get your butt kicked on Elden Ring on the train. What could be better??

I had it for a few month now and i m overall quite satisfied with the product for my use . I was looking for a window based travel gaming station to play my epic and steam libraries. I also wanted removable joycon like the switch to be able to plug it to hotel rooms and play further away from the screen . First things first do not expect to play triple A game on it it is not designed for that unless you want to play with limited fps and quality . The battery on balanced mode with a game like tomb raider last about 2hrs . Handy on plane and bus rides due to form factor. The fact it s window base means you can also use it like a laptop as long as you add a keyboard (as the one on screen takes too much space on a 8'screen) and a mouse ( optional as you have a touch pad and touch screen) . Much smaller and lighter than a laptop with a bit of a punch to be able to play. You have 2 usb-c, one on top ( main one used on desktop mode ) one underneath ( less accessible unless you use it on handheld mode ) so you ll need to buy small usb dongle to be able to use the top ubc while charging ( also better to reduce the pressure on the usb by getting a 90 degree angle with the charging cable ). The software (legion) is pretty basic and need some love from lenovo , so prefer another software to navigate your library. I find that any epic game always come up with the same purple legion thumbnails ( see tomb raider on the pic) , it also mix game and platforms launchers shortcuts ( epic, steam, rockstar , ubi .... ) despite having a separate tab for platforms . Which also needs to be adressed. On the other hand the other part of the legion software ( there is 2 buttons ) offers a nice mini screen to switch from one mode to the next and and multiple option to taylor the LeGo ( fps , power , fan etc....) In essence it s a nice first try by lenovo to step into the handheld world but the lack of accessories and interest by 3rd parties to provide alternative bit and pieces ( case, joy con connectors , etc....) make it a bit of a loner vs the steamdeck and rog ally despite being a better device . As a result you need to rely or 3d printing gadgets and that do not always fit and hold firmly your joycon . Basicaly you need to permanently find little tweaks to suit your need ( software as hardware)

Been looking for an Xbox handheld to play all my Gamepass games. This is not it unfortunately. Set up The is fairly easy and straightforward with lots of people who can help online from YouTube to forums. Battery life 🔋 This was pretty awful. I got around 1h 15mins which I found shocking as it ment I was always plugged into a charger (which isnt very portable) Build Quality ⭐ This is amazing, the screen the joycons and the case is amazing. It even has a little flap to allow you to change your computer when inside the case which is a great idea. Gaming 🎮 I bought this to play Gamepass games but unfortunately it would kick you out in the middle of games, lag when moving around and was at times unplayable. I really wanted to love the Legion Go. The display is huge and crisp when playing 4k videos. However misses the mark for gaming. Really wish Xbox would bring out there own console which is optimised for Xbox.

Been using this for a little while now and I find it really good! The quality of the screen etc is probably better than other competitors. The screen is a good size, the whole unit feels a little big in my hands, but I have small hands! The good thing though is you can take off the controllers like a switch. You can also attach and use a mouse and keyboard if you want, or a controller. I can play most games on it without much issues. Of course the more demanding a game is, the slower and more issues you will have running it, but it will play most games really well! Battery life is okay, it's obviously not the best, but can play for a few hours before needing to charge again. The only issue I do have with it is the sound quality. Other reviews are right! The sound is pretty bad for how expensive the product is! You'd expect the sound to be a little better, but it's not a deal breaker! I literally just bought a cheap little bluetooth speaker and I just connect that instead! Sound is much better coming through that! Wearing headphones would also be a good work around too. Overall, I am happy with my purchase! It's great and easy for me to play sitting down when I don't quite feel up to sitting at my PC, since I suffer from CFS, so some days it's just nice to be able to sit and play in the comfort of my sofa or bed.

I have a decent desktop PC, but I wanted something to game on the go. I have tried another number of other solutions over the years but my eyesight is not the best, so needed something handheld with a decent size screen. This was perfect. The screen is an excellent, comfortable size which is crisp and clear. Possibly the best I have ever experienced on a handheld. Upon unpacking and first switch on the first thing I did was update all the drivers and Windows. The driver update is now more streamlined as available straight from the Legion Go app and the windows updates are automatic as usual. This took me about 2 hours on my slowish internet connection. I then followed some tutorials online to get it optimized for the best performance, changing the vram allocation etc and it runs like a dream. I would say you need to be somewhat computer literate to get the best out of this device. Gameplay it runs exactly as expected, I have not had a game not run yet, after a bit of tweaking of settings. The only let down is the Legion go app, that should be a neat and tidy way to organise your game library, but it feels like a constant advertisement trying to sell you games. I have put on my own third party software to organise my library. Game streaming works excellent. It holds perfectly in the hand, while its heavy its well balanced so you do not notice this at all. Expensive, but this has been worth every penny.

After a few years having an obsession with owning most handheld pcs and games consoles, nothing has really beaten the steam deck(and later the oled version) in terms of playability and ease of use thanks to not dealing with windows but this beast, with its amd ryzen z1 extreme and its big juicy 2k screen has made it worth it for me and its for a few reasons, first you can simply enter steam in big picture mode to have a "console like experience" but there's also the xbox pc app with all its gamepass games and lenovo have taken these, and others like ubisoft connect and epic store and put them all in one launcher that's accessed by a single button, a feature I never knew I needed and this,along with having all the performance settings at the press of another button are all reasons its worth buying and that's before considering the detachable "joy-con" controllers that can be combined with a (sadly seperately sold) adapter to make them into a traditional controller and of course the consoles party trick, the included adapter is a dock that can turn the right controller into a gaming mouse that, unsurprisingly is better for shooting games and makes it great for pc gamers,overall if you want to be able to play any current pc game with decent frame rate and graphics settings and wait the choice of console or mouse gaming, you won't find anything better yet and it will be a good few years before it's not worth gaming on at all.

The product look nice and good but when I started to used the software was not goi it needs updating and touch keypad did not work often when you want to confirm some apples .plus it keeps crashing.. plus you can't download muumch games with the 512 gb if the game was big ..

انا كانت تجربتي له فالتصفح ووضوح الشاشة كان خيال كل ما احمل لعبة تعلق معايا لازم اشبكه فالشاحن عشان مايعلق والالعاب كلها تلعق وفيها تقطيع اما الشاحن حكاية ثانية من 100 ل 10 فالمية في 40 دقيقة يعني يادوب تديها سباقين طفى الجهاز صراحة الشركة لسا بتجرب فالناس وماوصلو للمطلوب وغير الالعاب كلها بفلوس يطفر جدك وسعر الجهاز بره لقيته ب 2800 جديد والاخ هذا شاحط ام السعر فوق 3600 خير
