These are great, strong (its steel) and shiny DIN rails. If you don't have DIN rails cutter, best way to cut is to use metal cut-off wheel with Dremel tool and do it slowly/steadily, takes a minute but cuts well. A small 20-pack heavy duty metal cut-off wheel for Dremel is around $6, well worth it with these DIN rails. Otherwise it will be difficult to cut these.

First, I mostly like this product, and it will probably be just fine. I thought the metal gauge was too thin, though. I expected it to be a bit thicker, and more rigid. There is quite a bit of flex. I have not got it rack-mounted yet; I'm sure it will stiffen up a bit once screwed in. The depth retaining-clips ought the be pre-flexed for a nice, positive engagement with the desired depth notches. Really, the nice feature here is the adjustable depth. If you need something extremely rigid, you might be better off bolting a DIN rail directly onto your rack.

This rack is pretty strong and will get the job done. I am using this for some raspberry pies and everything is working great! The din rail feels really strong and I am not worried about things falling off.
