If your anything like me you've just upgraded from something with an integrated grinder like the barista express and dived in to a mignon hoping to up your game. You've opened up, are thoroughly impressed but then you notice the little dial spins forever and has 5 markers and that's it. You need repeatability, you are happy that it's stepless but you need more markers and a sense of scale. You search the internet and find plastic 3d printed parts which do the job but you want to maintain that all metal premium feel. And this is the dial you're looking for! The small dial is 100% aluminium and nicely nerled and finished in matte black. The dial is a metal plate with cleanly etched numbers and the plastic parts are the large gear under the dial and the carrier for that gear. It's metal where you interact with it, and 3d printed plastic underneath but of good quality. Took all of 1 minute to install, fits snug, and looks OEM. I'm completely pleased with this , and yes I paid our of my own pocket, no I wasn't given this, I just think the existing review is very unfair to give it one star, the lowest I'd give it is 4 stars but I'm completely satisfied with the item matching the description so 5 stars from me

Excellent addition to the Eureka mignon mamuale grinder. Money well spent, easy to fit , good quality and makes getting your coffee grinds exactly how you want them. In my case it cuts down on wasting coffee, getting the right size grinds for whatever style of coffee you have.

Really happy with it, it looks very slick and fits very well. Once zeroed in, makes the job of switching between different grind settings super easy and more importantly REPEATABLE. It's crazy this isn't already a feature on the mignon range, highly recommend the upgrade for anyone wanting to even occasionally switch beans.

This is a great upgrade, as the adjustment was really the only weak point on the mignon series of grinders. If, like me you were torn between this and the king size Eureka dial, I went for this for one specific reason: occasionally, I want to grind for pour over. The king size dial from eureka makes it easy to turn the dial a very small amount, for very fine adjustments- which is great, and much better than the original. But when going from espresso to pour over, you need to make more than one complete rotation of the grind dial, which means you can then lose your number. With the ARO dial, the level of adjustment for any amount of rotation of the knob is basically the same as the original, but the number moves to track that adjustment really accurately in the centre, so you can be much more precise, and crucially, you can turn the adjustment wheel around more than once without the centre dial going all the way around, so you can keep track of the number for pour over as well as espresso. This fits perfectly, and the installation instruction is a video, which is really clear and helpful, having scanned a QR code on the box. The only thing I don’t like (which is being nitpicky) is that the original knob looks nicer, and I wish the centre dial had a guard which covered the teeth on the adjustment wheel. Overall though, I think this is how the grinder should have always been, and it’s an essential, well made, easy to install, high quality upgrade.

I bought this because my in-laws are coming to visit and only drink filter, so I want to flip back and forth between filter and espresso without losing my espresso dial-in. Fit is perfect and it looks completely stock. Knob is of a good size and feels fantastic to use. Packaging is also fantastic. I know this is a bit more expensive than some other options but these guys spend the money to make sure you receive a quality product. Only things I would add to the instructions: be sure your hopper is empty before installing, and ignore the bit where you zero the gauge from where the burrs chirp. The better way to do it is to dial your espresso back in and set that point to 10 or 20. You can easily pop the dial off without removing the hopper, letting you adjust the "zero point" to whatever you want.

Turned up with a box crushed in one corner. Fitted it and seems to work OK but still... Received another crushed item from Amazon yesterday. That one had to go back as it was broken.

It’s virtually impossible to use the manufacturer’s dial to set to zero with the blades just nudged back from touching. This device is a dream. Easy to install and get a genuine calibration set to zero which means the blades are just separated enough not to touch. This well made device has really elevated the Grinder. Very happy customer.

This fits perfectly on my Eureka Libra GBW. Install is super-easy. It is excellent quality. Makes it so easy to adjust the grind setting compared to the factory knob. I 1000% recommend this! As a side, it would be awesome if Aro offered anodized colors.

Great upgrade to my grinder

A little expensive for what it is, but it's very well made so I can't complain too much. The dials that ship with most of the Mignon grinders are very difficult to use, especially in small increments. This completely fixes that problem and looks great on the grinder. It fits like it's a factory-made accessory.
