Absolutely THE best thing I ever bought for the bed of a family member with incontinence issues. Now I'm just washing duvet covers on a daily/weekly basis and not having to buy duvets every other month! Saving me a fortune. Wipe clean, doesn't retain the smell of whatever it has to withstand so no need to wash when you're washing the duvet cover. Soft to the touch and doesn't make much noise at all, evens out the duvet and isn't heavy. Quality duvets won't slip around inside, the cheap ones might, but because this is 100% waterproof you can now put a quality duvet on the bed. Zip closure at the bottom so fully enslosed. I've put 2 duvets inside for extra heat for winter and they fit just fine, neither bunched up nor rattling around in it. One of the cats accidently got in the room once while the bed was being made and peed directly on it (the duvet cover had just been removed) and the wee just sat on top, didn't soak in, duvet inside was 100% protected and was still dry, clean and fresh and the cover itself didn't smell of wee either when it was wiped clean. If they are that good with liquids then they must also be good keeping the dust down so would be good for people with asthma. I would highly recommend getting these duvet covers/protectors for all your beds. I've tried others and they just don't do the job 100%. I'm back online to purchase some more now as I think they are great value for money!

The good news - the duvet cover really is waterproof, and although it rustles, it's not too loud especially when covered up with the ordinary duvet cover. The caveat - it is slippery and moves around a lot when unsecured. However, if you secure it with large safety pins at the corners, it's fine. You could also sew tapes onto the duvet corners and the cover's inner corners, if you wanted something less intrusive. Does it do the job? Yes, it does. I really never want to see, smell, wash and dry another urine stained duvet, and this cover will definitely help. I'm buying another!

Awful! Bought as an allergy sufferer, skin irritation and eczema. From the moment I placed the duvet inside it quickly moved around, no longer in the corners where I had put it. Then it moved again in the duvet cover, so didn’t lay smooth without a lot of adjustment. To lay under it rustles with every movement, it’s hot and causes a disturbed nights sleep. I’ve used for one night and won’t use again. The heat generated during the night has caused more skin irritation, I’d rather steam my bedding every night than use this again.

I like to have 2 duvet covers: one for hygiene which stays a while and the outer one more for decorative purposes. I bought this as the undercover. However, the waterproof lining inside the cover is very slippery - meaning that the duvet slips inside it, to the furthest corner, so I had only duvet covers rather than the duvet itself to warm me. I bought anti-slip duvet cover clips and placed them down all 4 sides, not just in the corners. Also, the duvet cover seems sturdy but it is rather stiff; hopefully this will improve when washed. 5 stars for being waterproof and sturdy, reduced to 3 stars for not holding a duvet in place.

This is great ! Much better than I expected. I’m really fussy about beautiful bed linen and how it feels. I have feather duvets and pure cotton percale linen. I was worried this would compromise the feel of my bedding but needed it for post operative period. I will buy more. It’s not too noisy for me but I still get that nice rustle that goes with feather duvets so if you like the silent movement of polyester, this may not be for you. If however, like me, you want the assured feel of feather and cotton, I would recommend. Also looks fresh and nice under my white duvet covers. NB I haven’t yet washed it but really happy so far and can’t imagine a cold gentle wash would compromise qualities

This has been a time saver, life saver. I look after someone who can be doubly incontinent and dealing with leaks through to the duvet was becoming really laborious with the regularity of changes required and waiting for duvets to dry between changes. Now just having to wash and change the top duvet covers has been life changing for me. I use a light spray of a fragrant Disinfectant on some heavy duty kitchen roll to freshen up the top of the waterproof cover and it remains fresh and stain free. It has massively reduced my workload. I can't comment on the slippage issue as the person tends to sleep on top of the duvet with a cosy blanket over them however I use microfleece duvet covers, since this person is sensitive to temperature with their Alzheimers, and they seem to groip the fabric of the waterproof cover better. I would highly recommend this product and would rebuy without hesitation.

While I can’t confirm how waterproof this item is and it seemingly fits the quilt size, but after a it’s first use, the duvet / doona that is zipped inside and cause it to gather leaving your quilt lumpy and uncomfortable. You’re better off without

Super pratique, bien étanche, lavage a la machine. Par contre met un peu de temps à sécher (certainement du au plastique)

Perfect fit does the job and noise calms down after a while
