I use this almost every day. It is great to transfer from the bed to the wheelchair, and even into the car. I actually need a longer one to get into my wife's Chevy Equinox as it sits a good bit higher than my wheel chair. But it works great for my dayds hundia and my scion. It is sturdy and you don't feel like you are going to fall.

Works very well for transferring in and out of vehicles.

Very easy to use, handles come in very useful and the bosrd is lightweight.

This transfer board made all the difference in getting from wheelchair to bed, tub bench, toilet, recliner, etc.We initially had a very small, short board provided by the hospital but my husband couldn't make the transfers by himself with it. It was too short to span the space safely, requiring additional assistance.The longer, wider board made this possible. Also the longer length made car entry simple, even if the car's seat was substantially higher than his wheelchair seat. The transfer angle was not as steep.The board is thick enough to be very strong but not so thick that the board was heavy.The cut-out handles made it simple to pull out from underneath him, and also to carry it.Due to its width, it also made a nice 'tabletop' for his dinner plate or computer when laid across both arms of his recliner chair!

I was excited to find a longer, wider board for my mom to use to transfer from her bed to wheelchair.Unfortunately I had to return this board. The best transfer boards have a glossy, smooth finished, and this board was rough. There was no way for me to fix that roughness and there was definitely no way she could slide across it to transfer. Super disappointed.

This sliding board makes getting in and out of my wheelchair a million times easier. The extra depth makes transferring a lot more stable. I like how the corners of it are rounded out so that clothing doesn't snag. Even though this board is big it isn't heavy! I can easily move it in position. I am so happy with this sliding board!

This board is very sturdy and wide. We've had it now for about 4-5 months and beyond dings it's still completely solid. The only con I would say is it needs a better finish on it. We bought it for transferring my mom from the bed to the wheelchair. She doesn't like it because it makes her work harder but in my opinion it's helped her progress more because it makes her work harder. She doesn't slide as easy so I would think I would help with falls more. The Physical therapist was loving it and asked where we got it because she doesn't see them that wide. Highly recommend it.

This product, in my opinion, only can be used by a person with strong upper body strength. Also not all transfers can be made at the same level. Meaning a wheelchair, Seat to tub, may not be at the same level. Same as wheelchair seat to car or seat to bed transfers. A thinners, maybe a (glossed plexiglass type), material could possibly work better. Similar to a cutting board Teflon material could possibly also work too. Again, I think only a person with strong upper body could use this product.
