It’s good. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. I use this in conjunction with my air fryer as I have a problem with bigger joints/chicken cooking in air fryer.

I've bought this oven because the traditional one is quite old and slow. Living in a rented flat means not being able to change appliances as my taste so I got this one instead.it perfectly substitute the big oven, it saves energy and bills cause it gets hot In 1 minute or so (180°) the oven comes with different accessories, all useful a part the crappy tongs that I bin pretty quick. There is no lid older so be careful how you handle the hot lid and where you put it. It doesn't really wash itself. You fill it with water and the oven warm it up. That is not washing to me. I usually take it and wash it properly in the sink. It's heavy but still manageable and quicker/better than clean the normal oven. I'm looks safe to use, just check that the wire doesn't touch the bowl when or it will be ruined as the oven gets pretty hot. I cook chicken drumstick in 35 minutes, same for roast potatoes and lasagne or other mixed vegetables. It's quicker with fish. I also cook 2 different things without any problem and the tastes don't mix. I've read people saying that they cook cakes too. I've tried twice with two different cakes and it didn't work so not sure what kind of cake they bake in it. I would try muffin but I wouldnt try other cakes as I ended up using the big oven to cook the bottom. Inside you can fit a round tray of 23 cm, or more if smaller. Very useful and great quality. Great it’s nice and easy to use for my mother in law she loves it

This must be my 4th halogen oven. It is used nearly every day including for the roast on Sunday. It just cooks everything and so much cheaper and more efficient than a conventional oven. Very quiet and easy to clean.

I just finished eating fish & chips cooked in my new halogen cooker. The oven chips and battered fish were so crisp and dry, I would never have guessed they were cheap own-brand products if I hadn't bought them myself. I don't have a fan oven to compare cooking time, but the need to heat the larger capacity of a regular oven must result in a longer cooking time. I can say my dinner cooked a lot quicker compared to the mini oven I used for the past six years. 17l seems perfect for one man and his cat, and I plan to dump the mini oven tomorrow. The only thing I think I will need is another mesh rack for battered fish. This is one item that needs turning. The chips cooked perfectly left alone. ***** UPDATE ***** After one month of use, I don't think I could do without this amazing cooker. I have cooked all my usual meals and found it as good as a conventional oven, only quicker and much easier to keep clean. I have not tried soups or stews, but as I own an Instant Pot, why bother? As mentioned previously, a silicon mesh rack is essential for cooking delicate items like pastry and battered/breaded foods. Buy a circular one that's larger than the internal circumference of the bowl and cut it to size with scissors. That will stop food from falling down the sides. These are sold everywhere, including on Amazon. I think this 17l model would be perfect for singles or couples. A family of four might need to adapt their eating habits to the capacity of the cooker. It certainly makes me wonder why people routinely purchase 65l+ ovens and heat a lot of empty space. I must mention one minor problem I have experienced. The light produced by the halogen bulb is very bright and irritating at times. On the other hand, you don't need to remove the lid to see if the food is ready.

Love this cooks meat nice without drying it .Meat is nice and tender and it tastes a lot better done in this easy to clean and use.Has a clean program on it i just put a drop off washing up liquid and some warm water for 20min. This is my second one

This is the 3rd Halogen Cooker I have had. The previous 2 lasted around 2 years each time. This "Emperial" one is a different brand. It looks very smart and seems to work well. The only issue I have so far is that there is a residue of water, either on the glass side of the lid or in the bottom of the glass bowl every time I use it to cook something . This did not happen with my previous two cookers despite daily use. Not sure why this happens or indeed what I can do about it. Will persevere.
