My New Go-To!
This diameter is perfect for precision work โ thin enough for fine-pitch components and SMD soldering, but still has enough mass to handle slightly larger joints without needing to feed too much wire. The 63/37 alloy melts beautifully at a low temperature and gives that smooth, shiny flow I love to see. No cold joints, no hassle. The rosin flux core is just right โ active enough to get clean, bright joints on mildly oxidized parts, but it doesnโt leave If youโre looking for reliable, high-quality solder that performs like the old Kester stuff but at a better price, look no further.

It's great, but a "0.6mm" is a little thinner/smaller than I thought.
No problem with the item. It works as intended. If you're new, you have to know....0.6mm lead/tin are very thin/small. These are better for someone, who want to solder in a circuit board. I'm just a regular guitar player, who wants to solder speaker wires and connecting guitar wires (volume and tone pots, toggle switches, and output jacks, etc. For this reason, I would prefer getting something bigger, i.e., 1mm to 1.5mm. Other than that, this solder wire works nicely.

Seems like a good product.
What can I say. Itโs solder. It works. Like everything the price is up.

Good value for money
I didn't want to write a review until I'd tested it extensively on various electronic and electrical soldering projects, and it really is a good solder at a good price. I'm not giving it 5 stars because there are other good quality options that cost a little less and offer the same quality as Maiyum.

Perfect for electric guitar electronics.
I purchased this solder for installing pickups in an electric guitar. It works perfectly for this type of work. It has a low melting temperature and sets up fast. Another plus is the amount you get on a roll of this stuff. For small electronics it should last me for a long time.

Smooth-flowing solder that makes clean, reliable joints
The MAIYUM 63/37 tin-lead rosin core solder performs very well for electronics work and small electrical repairs. The 63/37 composition melts quickly and transitions cleanly from liquid to solid, which helps create neat, shiny joints without the grainy look that lower-quality solder sometimes produces. The 0.8mm diameter is also a good balance, small enough for precise work on circuit boards but still easy to control when soldering wires or connectors. The rosin core flux works effectively and helps the solder flow smoothly onto pads and components. It wets surfaces nicely and spreads evenly, which makes it easier to produce strong electrical connections without needing excessive heat. The spool is compact and feeds smoothly without tangling. One helpful tip is to keep the soldering iron tip clean and tinned before starting each joint, since a clean tip transfers heat more efficiently and improves solder flow. It also helps to heat the component and pad first, then feed the solder into the joint rather than directly onto the iron. Overall, this solder wire is reliable, easy to work with, and well suited for electronics repair, DIY projects, and hobby soldering tasks.

Good quality
I was struggling using the soldering iron that I got somewhere else and decided to buy this one. So far, it is way better than my old soldering iron. Since its rosin core, i dont have to use too much flux to get a smooth soldering experience.

High cospa!
I don't know why the price is so low for this lead rosin core solder. I love the size for circuit boards and it works well. No issues.
