Simple, Easy to use, accurate.
This is a great kit, easy to use by yourself, the only thing i would recommend is to remove all the sterile packaging before you start and read and re-read the clear instructions, once you have pricked your wedding finger - don't dawdle !!! I hate the sight of my own blood but got through it without any problems, and i am so very relieved that i am all clear, i will test myself at least once a year now i realise it's not difficult to use this kit, worth the money for peace of mind - I recommend to everyone to test themselves !!!

Both lances failed and the test was not completed.
Poor instructions. I looked online for a video before using the kit. I could only find a poorly animated video with instructions. A real person using the kit would be much more beneficial. Neither lance worked properly, so this was a complete waste of money.

Very quick procedure that takes a couple of minutes to set a procedure that could save your life or catch something very early.

Complicated instructions and needle didn't work
You need to take time to read the instructions, as they are a little bit complicated. I am still not sure how you are meant to get the blood out of the finger, as the two needle things they give you do not break the skin. Not sure you are meant to take off the little cap, but I gave up and went and got my own sterilised needle. Getting enough blood to the black line took quite a bit of squeezing, but eventually enough was got and the test completed. Although the test came back negative, not 100% sure I trust this, but it has put my mind at rest and can delay getting the Doctor to do the same test in the near future.

The “Stabber” is near painless!
Really liked this test kit I had never heard of Berkeley as a brand and so went onto the internet first to check out the company website. This was also prompted by the fact this product didn’t have any reviews. It turned out Berkeley are quite big in the reagent testing game. Amazon must be a new distribution channel for them. The final clincher was being able to read a PDF of the instructions for the testing kit before purchase and the fact a sealed hygienic plastic “stabber” comes with the kit to draw blood. Pain, and avoidance of it is a prime motivator in my life. This beats the sewing needle type lances in other kits. I am the sort of person that automatically holds the body part when someone describes a pain there. I have a very good imagination when it comes to pain, believe me. Anyway, the kit is ultra professional in its items, all sealed and sterile. The automatic lance still took 45 minutes of holding the lance against my finger and increasing the pressure until it finally popped out, stabbed me, and popped back in again, and shocked me! My Dracula moment was complete with a capillary tube to collect the blood that actually worked and collected enough in good time for the test. I used my iPhone to time the five minutes for the result. I wanted to tell my wife what a hero I had been, but decided against it. I have peace of mind for another year and am grateful for that. I will buy next year and stab myself quicker. At the end of the day the well designed stabber, was near painless. Perfect!

Just Usable
The skin pickers with the kit were incapable of penetrating the skin. Luckily, I borrowed a proper pricker used for diabetic testing. The pipette was just about usable. The test worked well enough once you had a few drops of blood. I would not buy again.

Prostate Testing kit.
Well I have since read some previous reviews and have to say I fit in with many of their comments. Firstly the instructions were good but the product is fiddly to use and more disappointingly it didn’t work so back to taking the NHS route in the morning.

Buy this test it only way to check
I have prostate cancer So to help my work mates I bought 10 kits for the over 50s. Which they all did the test sadly one oh my mates has cancer but buy given these test to them he has caught it early. So this is a fantastic kit. Thanks joe

Sempliceme ma non ha funzioanto
Test semplice e pratico, ho eseguito le istruzioni, tutto regolare aghi, pipetta ma il test non ha funzionato, rimasto bianco.
