Strobe Edge, Vol. 1: Volume 1

When I first read it, I was drawn to main character ninako.. I can see ways I relate with her, her thoughts and feelings. And from there I was hooked this manga, I would stay up all night reading.. I really love the artwork of the manga how sakisaka Io draws the emotions of each character. I can't wait to have the whole volumes of this manga!!!

It's a little similar to 'Ao Haru Ride' but its an incredible manga, I really recommend it!

I am so very fond of Io Sakisaka's work. She is amazing at telling tales of teen angst & first loves so incredibly well. She creates stories we all can relate to, regardless of our age. These stories are things we all went through growing up, or knew someone who did. Crushes, first loves, unrequited love, confusion, strong emotions we struggled to understand. Also, I adore the way the mangaka draws the girls. Such messy hair, such huge, wide, deep, dark eyes that you just want to fall into. I'm buckling up for a wild ride, as Io Sakisaka creates such splendidly wonderful emotional roller-coaster stories.

I have read a lot of manga over the years and this one is really one of my favorites, I was so psyched to see its finally being published. It's a very well written series with attractive characters traditional to the shojo style. It will pull at your heart strings as the story progresses and there's a lot of back and forth liking and disliking... you know all that good drama that makes falling in love worth it. In this volume its just introductory to the situation: Ninako is in love with upperclassmen Rei, who later she discovers has a girlfriend. Meanwhile her childhood friend confesses to her. Get ready for some delicious conflicts and a roller coaster of emotion. If you like the highschool romance styles, you'd really enjoy this. And even if it's not your style, you may still enjoy this if you like a good old "gets the guy of your dreams in the end" type of love.

the shipping time was good but the delivery was terrible. the book had a bend in the corner of the book and it had been bent in half. i’m trying to fix the bends but nothing is helping :( any advice?

Personally, I'd go with reading Ao Haru Ride instead. The main male protagonist looks exactly the same! Besides, it has a much better story.
