This is my Amazon review for the Hefty Slider Jumbo Storage Bags, 2.5 Gallon Size, 3 Boxes of 15 Bags (45 Total).These are good quality Hefty bags that are thick, strong, transportable, and durable. Because they have a two-and a-half-gallon capacity, I can store a lot in them, from stacks of paper plates, pillowcases, and bedsheets to clothing, medicine bottles, and more. These are multi-use, good quality bags that can be reused. I like their appearance because I can quickly see inside them. I like the way they slide and completely lock the seal. They don’t leak. They keep our food fresh longer, and they last a really long time. For all those reasons, I consider these Hefty 2.5 gallon slider storage bags to be a good bargain. Thanks, Amazon.

These giant bags are the best bags on EARTH! possibly because they could carry the whole earth inside. haha.. They are huge. The thickness is great as well. They zip up nice. I normally really don't put food in them though unless it's like a bag of flour that I am going to freeze or something like that. I am using these for household items I don't know what to do with. Like all the kids sharpies, colored pencils and that type of thing. Instead of throwing in the drawers, I am throwing in these huge bags until I can figure out what to do with them. They are also great to fold up a nice blouse etc to send to your favorite donation. It will stay nice and clean this way. I have many brand new thing or like new that can be donated and I like for these things not to be mistaken for junk! Putting them in this big bag helps for them to stand out!All in all when you do use for food they would be great for dry things like macaroni, rice etc. With the nice quality of the bags I am sure the food would stay fresh.You get a great value for your dollar!

I use these for stuff that the 1 gallon bags are are too small to hold. They are thick and durable. I love the zipper slider closure. With the zipper slider, I know the bag is closed. With the other bags, even though I press the grooves together, and I think they're closed; they are not always closed. I can use them for almost anything in my house (i.e. clothes, my crocheting, knick knacks, stuff that I don't want my cats to get into ... and the list goes on ...). When I travel, I put my shoes in these bags, so they don't come in contact with anything else in my luggage. Good to use when you want to keep stuff waterproof like when I go to the beach or hiking. And let's not forget food storage and marinating meats.

I use these to store sheets, towels, pillows, etc in a linen closet at our beach house. These are ample size to store top and bottom king sheets separately but aren’t large enough to store a complete top and bottom king set together. They are perfect size to store sweaters and other like sized winter clothing over the summer months as well.

Good for dry-curing pork belly. Doesn't leak. Inexpensive.

These extra-large ziploc bags are dependable and ideal for big items, marinating roasts, etc. But the US Postal Service's handling and delivery was damagingly bad -- surprising because the USPS has handled previous Amazon orders well in the past. This time the three cardboard boxes were wrapped in a flimsy plastic envelope and jammed into our mailbox, partially crushing the boxes (they might have been damaged already in transit), as well as some regular mail behind them. Would have returned the order for replacement if the bags themselves had been damaged, but didn't want the delay. Would have done so if it was an item needing a serviceable container.

These are great quality zip bags. I use them to marinate whole chicken, or large batches of chicken, beef or pork. I usually use one or two a month, so this pack of 3 lasts a long time. It is money well spent. The zip closure always holds liquid. The plastic is thick enough and does not tear. It keeps food fresh, and works great for my family.

I bought these for storage of craft supplies and toys. They are perfect! They are BIG. You could even use them for storing a sweater depending on size. They are great for kids puzzles and toys with lots of little pieces (Lego sets, Playmobil, train sets, etc) as the zippers are easy for kids to open and close themselves. These are not freezer bags, but the thickness is enough for what I need. They are also great for storing completed art and school work you want to protect. Another use - I live in a rental with limited space and have to store many things in the basement (like yarn) so I was a little worried to store it in this type of bag because of moisture and mildew, but they seem to seal it out very well so no problems so far at all.I see some comments saying there's only 12 but I received three boxes of 15 each, as advertised. I plan on buying the smaller sizes too for smaller items. I could not find this size in stores so I am very happy.

Perfect - use it to store all woolens to keep moths away - do the job perfectly. Also great for show bags when traveling.
