The Eyeshield from Field Optics Research is the only universal eye piece designed to enhance the performance of virtually any field optics. Eyeshield connects to the eye piece and fits most performance optics. The patent pending technology found in eyeshield is designed to shade your eyes from light, wind, rain and snow. Providing improved clarity and focus Review: Just what I was looking for. Just a bit pricy. - Just what I was looking for. Fits my Ostara Prophecy 10x50 perfectly. Blocks out all extraneous light and draughts. Sides can flip down for carrying in a case. Just a bit pricy. Review: Excellent product, vastly overpriced - These eye shields work a treat, blocking stray light from being a distraction. Although I wear glasses, I use binoculars without my glasses. These ensure only the light through the eyepieces enters my eyes. As shown fitted to my Nikon Monarch binoculars. However, ยฃ19.99 for a pair is steep. Considering two pairs cost ยฃ24.99, that makes a pair really ยฃ5, the other ยฃ14.99 is for packaging, a really unnecessary tin box. As these seem to be the only worthwhile product to do the job (no cheaper Chinese copies available?), I have bought two pairs.

Great eye shields
Excellent product. They have transformed my binoculars - before the light leaking in from the sides was a real pain. These eyeshields fitted perfectly and cured the problem completely. I'm very happy with them.

Very expensive for what you get
Expensive for what you get. Have use eyepieces before which where of a higher quality and thickness. Don't see the need for a fancy tin box which could have taken ยฃ5 of the overall price. Thicker quality ones should last for years which means you don't need two pair unless you want them for a second pair of binoculars

These eyecups do not fit all!
I bought these winged eyecups to fit onto a Bresser pair of binoculars. Unfortunately, although on the Web site it states that they will fit just about all types of standard binoculars they are certainly not compatible with the Bresser binoculars.

Simple design but effective
Does what it's supposed to do. Blocks the light effectively from the oculars. Only flaw is they tend to slip from the oculars when you put the binoculars in the bag.
