Ordered these knifes not really knowing how they would be. When I received them and use them for the first time. Wow!! I was amazed the cut was so clean and easy. Would definitely recommend these

Very good quality

These knives don't look anything like Damascus steel I've seen. The Damascus pattern doesn't extend all the way to the edge, so if anything it's just ornamental. The fit and finish of the knives is good, but not quite what I'd expect for the price. There are some minor cosmetic flaws with the block and some of the knives. One has some small spots on the edge of the blade, potentially rust starting to form. The inlays on the handles aren't unique to this company. They've been appearing in a lot of different Chinese brands recently. The edges on the blades are surprisingly good. Mine came "shaving sharp" (yes, I did test them by shaving). Overall these knives are decent quality but don't quite live up to what I expected at the current price in terms of materials and fit and finish.

These are among the first knives I've had the pleasure to use from Nanfang. I am familiar with the brand so I expected quality, balance, and great looking hardware. These knives sure hit all the marks. They come very sharp. The finished Damascus style knives are just beautiful. The steel provides wonderful contrast to the tang and cream colored tang body. More importantly they are very sharp and are top tier at food prep. Can skin the skin off of a tomato. Made with VG10 these should have long use before needing to be re sharpened. The included block is a heavy, laminated, block of solid wood. It's flat out fantastic build quality. I highly recommend.

Very Sharp Good Looking Knifes really love the white handles look so different. Blades are very sharp and have an excellent hammered look to them. I was impressed with the feel and quality of the handles, very well balanced and do not slip in your hand. Carved a chicken up with ease and sliced right through like butter. So far the edges are holding up nicely. This would be an excellent gift as this is a top notch set a fare price.

Very nice set of knives. Very sharp. The block looks fantastic and has knife sharpeners built in. Comes with directions and if followed these knives could last a lifetime.
