Excellent product
Works beautifully. I had another USB-C type adaptor for a few months but it continually overheated. This one is cool to the touch and charging the MacBook Air perfectly. 5 stars all round :-). G

It doesn't charge the battery.
Purchased this to charge a Macbook 2017 A1466. It will power the laptop, but it doesnt charge the battery. Gutted!

Small solution to a big problem
This item is a little life saver. No need to buy an expensive apple charger. A simple, elegant, great working solution.

Wrong size
Item fine,Visually the item looked perfect, sadly not suitable for my MACBook Pro 2012. Connector on my Pro is approx. 3mm smaller. Must have changed for later model. Perhaps dimension could be added to description.

Works as intended on a MacBook Pro Mid 2014.
Used on my MacBook Pro Mid 2014 with an Anker 65w charger and Anker USB-C cable. The connector worked straight away with nothing else required. The laptop charged even when being used, as some reviews mention it not working unless the MacBook is off. The connector was cool with no excess heat. The quality appears good. The light goes orange when charging like the original charger.

This works! With the correct power.
Perfect. Just make sure you have the correct power adapter. I initially tried it with my 35W iPhone charger and cable, and the light flashed between orange and green, and did nothing. Turns out more watts were needed. Using it with the Apple 87W adapter (cheap on eBay) this worked like a dream and got my 2015 MacBook Pro up and running in no time. So if it’s not working. “We need more power, Captain!”

Works as advertised on MBP Late 2013. Make sure that you have an appropriate charger (20V 5A) and that your USB-C cable is also compatible (min 100W)!
