Salt Iodized Reduced Sodium, 12.3 Ounce

I've tried a lot of reduced sodium salts. All had a bad aftertaste, some worse than others. This one from Scotland is hands down THE best. No aftertaste at all. And it uses magnesium carbonate as an anti-caking agent which is pricier but better than those used in the U.S. which prioritizes $ over everything else.

Usually salt substitutes have a chemical aftertaste. Fortunately not true with LOSALT. They are a healthy and tasty alternative to high sodium salt products. So save yourself the worry of having too much sodium in your diet and buy LOSALT.

This salt is a great product to lower your sodium intake and increase your potassium intake and still have great salt flavor for your food. I recommend that nearly everyone should use this salt as a replacement of table salt.

Definitely the best salt substitute I’ve ever tasted, but this way to reduce my sodium is just not for me. Were I continue to use this modality I would use this. Hence, my rating of ‘only 4 stars’ hence no 5 star rating from me. The health benefits, ease of use, size & weight of product are all ok. FOR ME: I have decided I live my life healthily and reduce my sodium levels in other ways. IF YOU SEEK A SODIUM SUBSTITUTE, BUY THIS ONE!

I rarely write reviews unless a product is exceptional- but this one fits the bill. To me it is indistinguishable from table salt IF you use it very sparingly. You absolutely do not need a lot to benefit from a satisfying taste. It's perfect on popcorn. I spray the popcorn with butter spray so the "salt" will stick. I add just enough to get a good flavor., no more. Gives an increased boost to Dash seasoned foods. As someone on a very sodium restricted diet, this product has been a lifesaver.

Not great

Perfect combination of low sodium and ionization. Though not in the description, the pour spout has 3 options including standard salt shaker and heavy pour.

Years ago, my doctor put me on a low-sodium diet as I had developed hypertension. 1500 mgm a day...which is roughly 500 mgm per meal. Yikes. I've tried other salt substitutes over the years, most of them are just potassium, and no one would ever mistake the taste of potassium for salt. This tastes more like real salt. The size is better; I've had this one item for several months now. I think it's a better value for the money. As always, be sure and read the label, as this does contain a small amount of sodium. I plan on buying this again in the future.

The ultimate electrolytes drink and 100x cheaper too. Easy to use, wow. Smell like salt. Tastes like salt. Looks like salt. Feels like salt. Quality like salt.
