Easy Reader Watch for Women

Bought for friend who needs to see the time in the dark. Very robust but stylish. Perfect fit and value for money

I love this 1940s style ladies watch! I was getting tired of the 38mm large dials, so I chose thus one instead. It's 25mm, small, cute and very feminine. Press the crown and a light illuminated the dial! Fun and so easy to read. Cons: pleather strap which I swapped out immediately. But overall 10/10. I love it.

Sadly, this arrived in damaged packaging and the actual watch box was so shabby it made me think it wasn't brand new, at the very least certainly been in storage for a long time? I thought this wouldn't matter but it has become apparent it does not keep accurate time and the date is sometimes correct sometimes not, sometimes it will forward on with the time at others it gets stuck on a date! I would return it but sadly it was from USA through Amazon and to be honest I cannot be bothered with the returns expense and hassle. And no way of contacting the seller to try and sort something else out.

I am 74 years old and have always had a Timex watch on my wrist. I do not understand why more people are not buying this watch. Even though the face of the watch is large, which for me is good, the color of the band and around the face of the watch, makes it so dainty. I absolutely LOVE this watch! There is nothing. I could even come up with to say that would be negative about it. It’s perfect. Beautiful for all ages. From teenagers to senior citizens. You won’t go wrong buying this watch from Amazon! It’s amazing.

The hands on this watch should be white or have reflective material so there's a greater contrast with the dark face. I find I am constantly moving my wrist to catch the light in the right spot to see what time it is, which is annoying. They say it's an easy reader, but that's not the case. I do like the fact that the wrist band is easy to adjust to size. In the past I had to take my watch to the jeweler to adjust the size, but this was easy to do myself. As for the indiglo option, I haven't used it yet to know if it's good.

Packaging was perfect, not overdone but sufficient to keep the watch safe during transport. The band is a bit loose on my 6" wrist but for me its actually better than too snug. I do love the 2 tone design. Its a good quality watch and the stretch works very well. Its a basic, again sufficiently designed watch worth the money that coordinates well with dual toned jewelry. It will be great for travel, a bit of not over the top bling, lowkey.
