These coils fit perfect and works as it should to fix an engine misfire. Very easy installation that has held up so far.

Will NOT replace vertical connector pack (FD488), only replace Horizontal connector packs (FD480)
BEWARE!!! This is a FD480 replacement (Horizontal Connector), it will not work with FD488 (Vertical Connector), It did not work with my 1999 Ford Ranger which Amazon say is compatible. Your vehicle will NOT start (sparkplug firing order mismatch). Make sure your old one is also Horizontal before you buy this one to replace it. Replaced the plugs and coils on our spare car, vehicle gets only 1-2 thousand miles a year. The new plugs and coils really sorted the 106,000 miles OEM parts that were clearly getting old. Fast forward to today and one of the coils is failing after only ~1000 miles, vehicle can't be safely used until fixed. Filled report under warranty but no response. Would think a replacement coil would be the easiest solution with two and a half weeks remaining on the warranty. Hope they're not waiting out the clock. Still no response from customer non-service, 2 weeks left in warranty

Put in my 2017 Ford Escape as preventative maintenance on 7 year old ford products. Had never been changed or had a problem. Thought I was doing myself a favour. Be I’m in for $1000’s. Blew the ground off and ceramic particles on 2 cylinders. Car will never be the same without $1000’s of dollars. Total and utter regret.
