Scott Pilgrim 20th Anniversary Color Hardcover Box Set

I've had a borrowed copy of Scott Pilgrim for years and was planning on upgrading. I used birthday present money to purchase and it was well worth the price. The story holds up amazingly and the color is a way better representation of the story than the old Black & White. (I used to get confused between the numerous friends, especially Julie, because some of the girls look alike). The quality of the hardcover books are phenomenal and this will be a book that I will reread many years to come. The extras are nice, but it's worth it just having a great color copy in one package. This is by far one of my favorite collection sets of Scott Pilgrim. There are no wavy pages; all of them are flat. All the hardcover sets are colored pages and have great covers. There is also a behind-the-scenes book of the artist's ideas and art direction of the series. And mini posters and stickers as well as a special goodie.

Great series came in a nice box package and is easy to store. A fun to read and quick comic series. Highly recommend picking up this complete set.

My son is a huge Scott Pilgrim fan. He has a bunch of SP themed items. He already had the books in black and white paperback but when I saw this set, I knew he'd enjoy it. And he definitely was excited to see the extra little goodies it came with. He framed the posters and card it came with. It looks great and made him happy so I'm really happy with it.

This was originally supposed to arrive December 22nd and it showed up on the 3rd in great condition. I really love the box it comes in and how it's magnetic. I also really love the PSP aesthetic in with the font and how everything looks. I read through volumes 1 through 3 and will finish the rest tonight but everything so far is in great condition. I love the little notes like the joke about Ramona's hair color being natural as "being funnier in black and white" which adds to the charm the series already has.

A nifty and complete box set of awesome full-color hardcover books for the discerning comic book reader. The box was a little dented at one corner, but the books were all in pristine condition. Posters and stickers included! Also includes a kind reminder that the stickers are meant to be used, rather than saved as collectibles.

It's an incredible read, the entire first volume was almost perfectly translated on screen it's almost eerie. It's not often that you see that happen with book to movie. It follows the same beat and rhythm its uncanny. That is because Edgar Wright read the first volume and immediately secured the rights to make it into a movie. The rest of the series takes small departure from what the movie turned out to be, and it's good. Characters that are glossed over in the movie have more to do with the story or follow Scott around as he tries to defeat the 7 evil ex's. It's an easy read so a younger audience can keep up but some of the themes are better suited for an older teen. The main reason why I wanted to write this review and the reason why it loses a star is because of how the box arrived. Some of the corners either sustained damage or wasn't printed with care. I say the second part too because of how the box opens up makes it feel like it's already seen action before ever arriving to my house. The wrinkles on the box merit another star being knocked off however I received mine for a steep discount and at the time of this writing still is discounted at 99$ instead of 250$ but still, how are these printed ? Who handles it ? Perhaps its needs another method for delivery to prevent damage to the box which is kind of a huge selling point since it looks like a PSP box, which my PSVita box purchased almost 10 years after release doesnt look as beat up. 4 stars since the story saves it.

As someone who's been a fan of this series for over a decade, I’ve always wanted a convenient way of collecting my childhood series in the best way possible in color and now it finally arrived and what can I say this collection slaps with the posters and hardcover volumes and a separate volume containing stuff I never knew about the series and ALL IN FULL COLOR (and black and white if you want to purchase that separately) it's the best value you can get as a die-hard fan of scott pilgrim 10/10 would recommend to anyone trying to collect them.
