What kind of cable would I need to be able to plug this in from the headphone jack of my laptop to an amplifier?

Alesis support here! You will just need an aux cable, but there's no absolute answer of the connection type because every amplifier port could be different. Most likely, your computer's headphone jack is a 1/8" connection. You will want to use an aux cable where one side is 1/8" and the other side should have the connection type of an input on the amplifier. can you plug this into an amp?
