My house had mould when I moved in, previous owners clearly didnt know how to open a window. I bought this to help prevent it coming back. I have it upstairs on my landing between the bathroom and my bedrooms, Works great, removing excess water. Switches off when full. Has a clear display with multiple settings and clearly shows the air quality. Well worth the cost. And no more mould. Its easy to move as it is on wheels. Its inconspicuous as its a relatively small unit.

Bought this recently and honestly it surprised me in a good way. First night I ran it in the living room, the air stopped feeling sticky and the windows didn’t fog up as much in the morning, so I figured ok this thing actually works. The laundry mode has been the real win, clothes that used to take basically all day on the airer were dry in like half the time. Noise is alright, not silent but kind of a low hum you stop noticing unless you’re really listening for it. The tank fills quicker than I expected, so I ended up using the little hose into the sink which made life easier. Only thing that bugged me is in my colder spare room it felt slower, but I guess that’s normal for compressor ones. Build quality feels fine for the price. I wasn’t expecting miracles and it’s pretty much done what I hoped, so yeah, solid buy if you’re dealing with normal damp and indoor drying, not like full on mouldy basement stuff.

Updated to add a photo of the tank after a month. Not sure it's supposed to turn BLACK. Fantastic! I had a mini dehumidifier because I have to dry laundry indoors, and the house also gets humid easily, and while it helped, it couldn't keep up. This one is so much better. I set it to 50% humidity on Low. Someone else said it sounds like a fridge hum, and it does. Not too loud, my standing fan is louder. Even on low, the tank was half full within hours. Day 2 (after switching it off for the night), humidity was still lower than usual, and my laundry is dry in record time. Not to mention additional features - it switches off when the tank is full, it has an auto defrost function, it's on wheels if you need to move it, you can clean the filter, and it remembers the humidity level you set. I mean, what's not to love? For anyone who NEEDS a dehumidifier but doesn't want a typical huge, noisy unit, get this one!!

We brought this for our lounge. The 'HumiZap' Room Dehumidifier is a compact, sleek and effective machine that gives optimal humidity levels in small to medium-sized spaces. It is lightweight making it easy to move and has a 1.5Ltr collection box with a window so you can see the water level, we empty it nightly but it does have an auto shut-off if we forget. It operates via a touch button system located at the top of the machine. The device operates quietly, making it suitable for nighttime use or even while watching TV. The only negative I have is I wish the collection tank was a bit larger. Over all, we are extremely happy with this product.

Small and light weight compared to my other. I only use it on laundry mode to get my washing dry but it's amazing. Simple instructions. Easy to empty when it's full and a good price. Gets my washing dry miles quicker!

This is the first time I've purchased a dehumidifier. My flat every year between October to February suffers with really bad condensation. When I mean bad, I mean there is literally water dripping on the inside of the windows in the living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom. I normally go round wiping everything down when I wake up. Then an hour later it's back ! This little unit is brilliant! It's only a 6 litre capacity, but don't let that fool you ! The first time I used it, I left it on for 2hrs and went to the gym. When I came back I was amazed to find at least 150ml of water in the tank ! Now I hardly ever have any condensation on the windows in the morning. I put it on for a HR in the morning and at night before I go to bed. In terms of cost, my current kWh is priced at 27.77p for electricity, so this works out at 3p an hour which is incredible! So if I ran it for 10 hrs, it would only cost me 30p to run! The larger units are more kWh and would obviously cost more to run. For my one bed flat, this is plenty powerful enough. Buy one, you won't regret it !
