Revolution Globe, 12” Diameter Desktop World Globe, Gyromatic Full-Swing Movement, Decorative For Home or Office Decor, Bronze Metallic

My product just arrived, and I immediately removed the packaging to take a look at the globe. It is made with very good quality..the wood base doesn’t feel hollow or light, and the metal meridian doesn’t feel flimsy at all. I loved the vintage look, and have always wanted one. The globe spins smoothly when adjusted, but it doesn’t feel loose. I read some interviews that said the globe’s geography was off, but the seams look perfect, and if they are a little off, it’s not a bother to me. I plan on keeping this for a long time!

Great gift. Nice size globe with clear, quality imaging. It can rotate every which way, an important feature if you want it for function in addition to decor. Has the “vintage” look which goes nicely in my husband’s club room. The wood base is brown (not reddish brown) and the metal is an antique gold. Highly recommend this quality item.

This looks so good on my home desk. I love the antique look. I bought this because my son is starting to travel internationally and it's fun to see where he is in the world. What they call the Gyromatic Full Swing Meridian really allows you to move the globe around -up, down, any which way which makes it great for easily viewing places that would normally be only on the bottom of a normal globe. I also like the mountain ranges showing in raised relief. Definitely would recommend this.

Very disappointed. It looks like Canada is a new country called Canada North (see attached picture), seams not lined up.

well built. beautiful colors and details. Looks amazing amongst my books and other educational treasures. Non issues: The equator seems wider than it needs to be. The base connector could be of better quality.

I read every review of this globe that I could find before purchasing it, and they all had valid comments. The latitude and longitude lines of this globe seem to line up pretty well, the equator is stuck on well and it seems sturdy enough. There's some sort of cheap plastic piece at the top of the holder where it seems like something has broken off, but I can't imagine what might have been there. It's nice to have an up-to-date world globe again, even if it says "Canada North" in big letters across Canada, and "America" much lower in in US. It does say "United States" in much smaller letters, but the labeling is confusing, or would be if I didn't know better!

Build quality is good. It looks great.

I’ve provided photos of the more contested political boundaries and how they are shown on the map. We use it for homeschooling, so accuracy is important. The majority of the seams meet smoothly and I think it will last.
