A Good Auger Drill Bit for Home Gardens and Lawns
This thing works, it does what it's supposed to do, and didn't cost a lot... so 5 stars. I used this to drill holes in my yard and garden, kind of like aerating, before adding worm castings, seeding, etc. I've never done this before and it worked surprisingly well and quickly. It was also useful for seeing the quality of soil in various areas of my lawn --- in some areas the ground is rich and fertile while it's very dry and more sandy in other areas. A quick hole and you know without guessing. I found the length of this drill bit perfect for my height (5'7"), as I could lean over to drill into the ground without bothering my back or getting down on my knees. A few words of caution: Set your drill on a slower setting and to use 2 hands to hold the drill and to let go immediately if the drill catches onto something and starts twisting. It can jerk suddenly, and really twist a lot and hurt your wrist, very seriously. The tendency is to grip hard when this happens but you must release the trigger and let go --- then reverse the drill to get it out back safely. Make sure it's in reverse or you can hurt yourself. If your ground is too hard you should water it first and wait a bit, so the soil is softer. Don't drill very fast in the same hole too long, as it can make the sides of the holes too smooth and seals the soil which blocks the nutrients / water / roots, etc. Make sure you're not drilling where any buried line / wire or pipe can be near your house.

Great auger bits!
It worked great in my hard clay soil. Used the small bit and worked my way up in size. They seem very durable and worth the cost

Excellent for Installing Termite Bait Stations โ Even in Tough Soil
I bought this auger bit specifically to drill holes for termite bait stations, and it exceeded my expectations. It cut through hard clay and gravel with very little effort, making the job much faster than using a hand tool. The bit stayed straight, cleared the dirt well, and fit my drill securely with no issues. The size was perfect for my application, and it saved a lot of time and effort compared to digging each hole by hand. After using it on multiple holes, it still looks great and shows no signs of bending or excessive wear. If you need an auger for installing termite bait stations or other small landscaping projects, I highly recommend this one. It worked exactly as advertised and earned a 5-star rating from me.
