Smooth coffee
I tried this coffee on a Black Friday sale and had no hopes for it as I'm new to coffees other than San Francisco Bay brand ones. I'm still learning about what makes a good coffee bean. To me it's the outcome, a consistently smooth tasting cup with a nice aroma. If I can taste other notes like citrus that's a bonus. With this Rex coffee it consistently left a smooth cup even when I over extracted in my espresso machine I'm learning to use. Which hasn't been the case with other coffees I have tried this far. I've never had a bitter cup. The worst that happened was I lost the aroma and began to lose the crema. In a drip coffee maker the coffee needed a little more coffee than I usually used to make a cup. Otherwise, it was a little weak tasting. This may have been my fault in not grinding it right. However, just adding a tad more fixed the issue.Overall, I'd say this was one of the best coffees I've had to date. May my experience help you decide.

Bring the taste of Guatemala's coffee to your mug!
Bring the taste of Guatemala's delicious coffee beans to your favorite mug. I got this whole bean supply recently and I think it smells and tastes great. I like my coffee black, my beans fresh, and my day uplifting. Trifecta with this coffee of single origin!

The coffee tasted full and strong, with no bitterness.
REX Guatemala Cubulco Medium Roast Whole Bean Coffee, Single Origin, 12 OunceFirst impressions: Nice bag of coffee beans. They seem well roasted and are a consistent color and size.Installation/setup: Use in your usual method of coffee brewing.Final thoughts: Nice tasting coffee. I used it in my regular drip brew maker after grinding it to a medium grind. The beans ground well and evenly in my burr grinder. The coffee tasted full and strong, with no bitterness. If anything the coffee was a little lighter than I expected and I needed a bit more grounds to brew to my usual strength. Once I added a bit extra, it made a delicious cup and I’m glad I got it.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

Smooth and Robust
Aromatic, robust and just a hint of bitterness. It’s a good choice for coffee drinker that do not sweeten their coffee. Any sweetener will smooth out the bitterness, making it less bitter to the palate. Add more water or add a sweetener. The coarseness of the grind and the water temperature also affects the final brew.
