Absolutely amazing!
I have suffered from planter fasciitis for 9 months and have brought most of the recommendations. BUT these are amazing and my pain literally disappeared overnight. They are from the statesโฆโฆ but absolutely worth the waitโฆ. Search no more these are the answer!

buy it second time
If you decide to use them, I suggest buying half a size up; otherwise, you may feel a bit cramped when putting the shoes on. P.S. I suggest keeping it in basket and buying it on sale.

Definitely worth trying
I have slightly flat arches and after a six mile walk yesterday my feet were really aching and my right big toe joint and knee were hurting. Today I put these supports on and walked the same distance in my trainers, following instructions and changing out of them after three hours wearing. My feet feel quite exercised, but hey, no toe or knee pain. So I think the arch supports have held my feet and the rest of my body in a much better position. Probably best worn in trainers which can be adjusted, or other fairly generous shoes as these supports are thicker than socks. I am definitely going to keep wearing these. I like the fact that you can choose the level of support - by deciding whether to add the extra inserts. And I like the fact they didn't slip when I walked several miles today. Slight downside is that because they are bulky I can feel the edge of them digging into my sole slightly, but it wasn't painful and I suspect I will wear them in and they will get softer.

I have plantar fasciitis and need to wear insoles in all my shoes. I bought these for doing yoga and they offer great support. I can now practice barefoot and pain free.

Feels fantastic, soft and comfortable, yet firm support. Ordered a second pair on delivery for my wife.

Not as good as a night splint
Didn't work for me. I got this to augment my night splint, but it was just too uncomfortable for me. I didn't like the constant pressure on the arch of my foot. The night splint is a little inconvenient, but a lot easier on the foot.

Good idea, well executed
Good idea, well executed. I've had insoles before because of fallen arches and knock-knees and all sorts of other posture-related issues. They were only really useful outdoors and fell out of use pretty quickly. These are great because you can just trot around the house in them essentially barefoot, and they are very strong and supportive. They strap to your feet very comfortably. I would follow the advice on the pack - at first, more than a few hours at a time wearing insoles can be a bit punishing on your feet, but as you get used to them there is a real and noticeable improvement to posture and all the usual aches and pains have always diminished, in my experience. So, yes. A simple, smart and effective twist on an existing concept. July 2016 edit: 5 months later and I absolutely love these. I wear them every day. I absolutely never revisit my reviews but I'm making the exception here to say: if you stumble on these, and suffer from posture issues precipitated by overpronation or similar problems, it's well worth giving these a punt.

A PAIR FOR YOUR MONEY, WITH FLEXIBILITY AND COMFORT
There's plenty of competition in this field - illustrating, perhaps, the extent of foot problems in the population at large - and it's often difficult to see what advantage one product has over any of the others (aside from the cheap and badly-manufactured ones). In this case, the principal advantage I see is that you get a pair for your money; I can't speak for others, but for the elderly it's crucial to have a well-balanced posture - wearing just one such support can create instability and contribute to falls. The second advantage is price; a pair of certain other makes will cost twice as much. And a third advantage is the variable support - a firm plastic insert will increase support to maximum. For myself, I found wearing them without the hard insert to be comfortable, and I particularly liked the fact that the support was confined entirely to the arch area, which I thought preferable to the full sole designs. On the other hand, in order to fit them yourself, you do have to be flexible enough; fortunately, I still am, but I others less fortunate will need help. The instructions advise starting with a 4-hour period daily, but I've worn them all day - the time when I spent more than four hours a day on my feet has long gone... The packaging is reminiscent of the blue and yellow Scholl design, and one wonders why 3M, which has a ยฃ20billion turnover, felt the need to pinch someone else's colours. No matter, it's a pretty good product.

Good arch support
As someone with badly fallen arches, this provides great arch support and relieves pain when I am not able to wear arch support shoes. The fact that there are 2 levels of support is also great - and they're swappable according to individual needs.

Extremely helpful in foot pain control
This is very helpful to me. I suffer from plantar fasciitis. I'm not saying the pain is entirely gone, but this definitely delays the pain onset. Recommended for people who are on their feet for the better part of the day.
