I Absolutely swear by these bandaids, but I don’t use them the way most people would. I am a type 1 diabetic - so I am constantly 24/7 wearing insulin pumps and CGM sensors. These devices are on my body every second of everyday. The adhesive attached to these devices can be extremely irritating to the skin and I’ve found my skin to be very sensitive to said adhesive. That is until - I discovered bandaids brand hydrocolloid bandages. These bandages are the perfect size to adhere onto the adhesive of my medical devices. Creating the perfect barrier between the device and my skin. I buy about 7 packs of these per month on an amazon subscribe and save. I end up saving a couple bucks each time, as these are way more expensive in stores. I can’t imagine using any other bandage type/brand as a barrier. Bandaid brand is not only reliable, but the only brand of hydrocolloid bandages I can wear for 3-10 days and not be irritated one bit! These have quite literally saved my skin and changed my life. They also heal your skin and you wear them - preventing my skin from being itchy and irritated due to my medical devices. They are truly waterproof and do not come off without pulling! I can shower, bathe and swim with these bandages on no problem. These bandages are super versatile - like I mentioned, I use these as a barrier between my skin and my medical devices, but obviously you can use them as a regular bandage, or even a cost effective and affordable option to DIY pimple patches! I seriously love these and reccomend them to everyone. If you are wearing any sort of medical device and are prone to contact dermatitis from the adhesive - PLEASE give these a try. I promise you won’t be dissapointed!

I see a lot of negative reviews because people didn’t wait long enough to take the bandaid off.. The healing happens under the bandage and it is designed to stay on for SEVERAL days (sometimes as long as a week or more) no need to change or refresh them as you will probably just agitate the area if you remove before healing occurs.. these bandaids have been a godsend for my husband and I. We both suffer from Hidratinitis and get painful boils. These bandages cushion the boils so they don’t rub or become irritated and cover the open wounds when they drain. If we don’t have them my husband can’t even move. They are amazing bandaids and they work great when used correctly.. They are VERY waterproof and last through showers swimming etc.. Removal can be delicate depending on location because they are removed similar to how you remove a command strip (grab one side and pull in that direction until it releases) but we have used the honestly on EVERY part of out body and they adhere to the difficult to dress places (armpits, thigh creases, lady parts, you name it it will stick and stay) they also do not cause damage to our skin the way gauze and tape was before we discovered these little miracles.. I truly wish they would sell them in more stores locally so I don’t always have to order them

I became interested in hydrocolloid bandages after seeing multiple videos on tiktok of them being used as acne pads. The brand names for that usage were really expensive, I just couldn't justify the purchase. Fortunately, a comment pointed me to the band-aid brand, saying it was basically the same thing. I'm so glad I did, and I REALLY wish they had been around when I was a teenager. My most common acne is cystic, and I've never been able to find a product that helped other than prescriptions which didn't get rid of them completely. Often they'd last for weeks, no matter what I did. Now, as soon as one pops up, I just cut a small patch in these bandages and put them on. I've checked after a couple hours, 24 hours, and 48 hours; the results were astounding. Without fail, the cysts will drain, looking better with just a couple hours, and are often completely flat/gone within those two days. So far (after a couple months of use) the longest time they've lasted after covering them has been five days, which is nothing compared to the weeks and months I'd have to wait before these bandages. They also work really well for whiteheads, blackheads, inflammation, and other types of blocked pores. The bandages absorb bacteria and oils, so using them as a pore strip works better than any product I've ever used for that purpose. The first time I tried these, I put them on the highest problem areas of my face, and took them off after 36 hours. There was so much really gross stuff all over them, I couldn't believe it. The overall appearance of my face looked sooo much better and clearer, and I saw a noticeable difference in the size and coloring of the acne. I took before and after pictures, but I'd rather not share them (I just know from photographic comparisons and am not relying on memory.) It's so rare to find a product that makes a significant difference after one use, I wanted to share, if anyone happens to be looking for the same usage. I can't speak to the wound-care purposing, as I haven't had any since I started using them, but I would definitely try them if I did. One thing I would suggest considering if you're looking at them for that purpose is sizing and stickiness. The bandages fit in the palm of my hand (I usually cut them into whatever size or shape I want with scissors.) They are also completely sticky on the side going onto the wound; I think you're supposed to leave it on until either the wound gets better or the bandage starts to come off, but I would think that has the potential to do damage with some types of wounds or scabs, but I'm not a healthcare professional. Overall, highly, highly recommend giving these a try if you're looking for something to help clear up acne or clean pores. At the price, what do you have to lose?

These band aids are perfect they last a long time and heals the wounds fast

The BAND-AID Hydro Seal Adhesive Bandages work very well for protecting cuts, scrapes, and blisters. The hydrocolloid gel keeps wounds moist for faster healing, and the waterproof design is perfect for showers or light water exposure. The large size provides good coverage, and the adhesive stays in place without peeling easily. My only minor issue is that on very active areas, it can sometimes start to lift after a day or two. Overall, these are excellent bandages that provide reliable protection and support healing. Would definitely recommend!

These are amazing!!! I cut a small chunk out of my finger, below the cuticle and no matter how many times I would put on a new bandaid and Neosporin, it would still hurt and it would not heal bc I just kept banging it on stuff or it would get wet in the sink cuz I'm a mom and I can't put gloves on every single time I want to turn the faucet on, so my SIL who's an RN told me to get these and they are incredible! I've used the sink like 30 times already since I put this on about 9 hours ago, and it's stayed completely dry, my cut has stayed dry, the bandage has stayed in place, my cut actually stopped hurting, and I didn't even need to use any Neosporin bc the bandage itself has some sort of extra healing stuff in it so I'm absolutely loving these. I'm gonna always keep some in my cupboard. They're totally worth the extra couple dollars if you're someone who has a wound that you need to keep dry. Apparently these stay on for 5 days without needing to change them! Update: the bandage stayed on and stayed dry in the swimming pool! We swim for about an hour every other day, and that thing completely protected my wound from even a chlorinated pool! Incredible

The uses for these are endless! Seriously one of the greatest modern medical products. Yes, they work fantastic for blisters on the feet, even on those high friction spots. I stepped in a fire ant hill back in September while on vacation and was dealt several stings on the uncovered skin at the top of my socks before I was able to get all of them off of me. If you’ve ever been stung by fire ants then you know that they can leave grotesque pussy bites that itch like no other for a few weeks before leaving marks that may go away a year later. Well, luckily I had these in my toiletry bag and thought hmmmm maybe these will speed the process. I am not kidding you when I say that in less than a week my skin was healed and they never got super itchy! Buy them.

This type of “gel” bandage is far superior to others for any difficult situation, especially areas that are difficult to get a bandage to stay, or difficult to keep dry (such as your hands)! When it adheres fully, it becomes very much like a second skin: flexible, soft, and rather water-proof. The healing action is terrific too; the wound is completely sealed, with the gel absorbing any seepage. It can stay on for days. Key for a good seal is to dry completely around the wound, apply firmly, and keep it dry ideally overnight; that is when it adheres fully, again, like a second skin!
