I found these grab bars on Amazon while looking for gold finishes rather than silver, and the price was very reasonable. I was initially concerned about whether they would be sturdy enough to support someone in the event of a fall, but they have proven to be solid, well-made, and very secure. They’re great and look nice but the rings don’t stay up.. I had to put silicone caulking around the part on the wall then used packing tape overnight to hold them in place.. the one mounted straight up and down is fine but we had to angle the other and that’s the one I had to caulk.. not a big deal.. just a bit of a nuisance

My spouse had multiple health issues. Grab bars are a necessity in bathroom areas. This unit was installed against a wooden cabinet. That is important to know if you intend to use a grab bar where there is sheetrock. Typically, wall studs are 18 inches apart. To hold a person's weight, you need to have screws that go into a stud behind the sheetrock. If you have wood or stone to drill into, a 12-inch grab bar works just fine. This is made of good materials. I think it will last a long time. It does not detract from the overall look of the bathroom.

As a 72 year old woman, I installed these myself in our tile shower. Make sure you use the proper bit and use masking tape on the tile before you drill. I feel much safer getting in and out of the shower with this handle secured to the wall.i like how the white bar blends in with the white tile.

We checked with ADA regulations for proper placement. Hoping the gold-look will last MY life-time. Sure look nice. Very sturdy to hold on but I don't expect to hold 200 pounds of me. That's not what they are designed to do. Be sure to install properly.
