Avantree Repose - Bluetooth in-Ear Sleep Earbuds with Tiny Ear Tips for Side Sleepers & Small Ears, Wireless Neckband Headphones for Sleeping, Low Latency for TV Watching, 18hr Playtime

Purchased the Avantree Repose "sleep" earbuds. I would like to first say the customer service with this company is beyond GREAT! Avantree gets a 10+. My first pair had a problem where the BT kept shutting off. I did what troubleshooting there was and contacted company NOT Amazon. Avantree immediately created a ticket and sent me out a replacement pair within 3 days. Within a day after my replacements arrived Avantree C.S. sent me a shipping label to return the defective pair. The battery life is phenomenal on the Sleep buds! I use my cell to stream programs when retiring for the night. The earbuds are super comfortable and very soft silicone that fits snug in the ear. The earbuds are very tiny much smaller than the HEARPROTEK sleep buds which I now retired. In the past I had never found a BT sleep bud that was comfortable for side sleepers and where battery didn't last more than 4 hrs. I often will wake up in the middle of the night and use my cell to stream a program so I can go back to sleep. Because these sleep BT have such a great battery life you don't have to worry about the battery draining after 4 hrs. What most impresses me is they are super comfortable for SIDE sleepers. The battery life is beyond any BT I have ever used - more than 24hr charge time I have seen so far. I like them also for listening to music or podcast...all works well! I charge them every morning which takes roughly 10 min. They are worth every penny for a budget friendly BT. Would definitely purchase again. Rei and Jenny at AVANTREE have been great!

Be careful. There are three different versions of these headphones. Which one you get is luck of the draw. Some w C port, some with old school parallelogram port, some with a slide power button, some with a press power button with no clear indicator as to on or off. The ARE the most comfortable sleep buds I’ve used for my child sized head.

Started having trouble with charging these ear buds recently so I searched for a replacement. That's when I noticed I had purchased these almost 2 years and 1 move ago. They're still working fine for my wife when they work. Turns out it was a loose connection in the cord. Found another Micro USB cord and it's charging fine now. Wish Avantree would upgrade that to USBC like most everything else so we wouldn't need multiple cords bedside. That's my only knock on this product. We've always hated Micro USB for the tiny one way plug that's difficult for our older eyes to see to line it up. Otherwise she loves the small size that fits inside her tiny ear canals while she lays on her side sleep-watching TV. And she appreciates the rubber cups on the buds. They don't irritate her ear like foam does. The battery still lasts a while and it also works plugged in (with a good cord) so she can keep on watching/listening after she runs it down. The Bluetooth connection gets a little hincky every now and then but a reboot of the transmitter seems to fix it good enough. In my Amazon search I didn't see a better set for people with small ear canals. And this one still shows a Micro USB charging port. I think we'll stay stick with these until they really give up. I'm on my second Avantree transmitter and forth headset. Mostly replaced for upgrades when they make sense for us.

I’ve bought two sets of these because they’re amazing, until they stop working. First earbuds bought March ‘24 and bought again Oct ‘24 to confirm if 7 mos is life expectancy. Sadly, one earbud stopped working at 8 mos and I’m now shopping for a new earbud solution. The price point for 7-9 mos is not worth it. Although the battery life is great, it’s a shame that the sound/earbuds don’t work for a year.

Just made my second purchase. The first pair I bought May 2025. After about 8 months one side stopped working and the sound in the other eventually faded to where I couldn't hear anything after 12 months. As a side sleeper I could really only hear out of whichever side is pressing against the pillow. Once one side stopped working I had to move the whole neckband around if I was flipping over. That was very irritating. I will say these are very comfortable. I have small ears and these fit well. I don't have any ear pain when wearing these all night. Please know these are not noise cancelling...you can hear a lot of other noise in the room so if you have a snoring spouelse these aren't much help. I enjoyed these so much that I decided to purchase another pair even though I wish they would have lasted longer. I've had the second pair for about two weeks. There are some differences from the first pair I bought that are slightly irritating. The second pair used a micro usb and the first pair used usb c). This means I have to keep two chargers on my nightstand instead of the one I use for my phone. Also, the flap you lift to plug it in to charge is very tight and hard to get open...it is also hard to get the micro usb inserted. The first pair charges a little faster than this second pair. If this pair lasts longer than the last one I might keep purchasing because I think they are comfortable but if not I may have to find something else next time because I shouldn't be spending this much on something that doesn't work properly in 8 months.

I have smaller ears and have not found earbuds that stay in place for long even when I am awake. These however fit and are small enough to "tuck" into my ears such that sleeping on my side is still comfortable. And if I find the headphone on the side of my head on the pillow is annoying me (it never hurts), I can just pull it out, keeping the other one in, and not worry about doing anything with the removed earbud as it's attached to the neck piece. I don't shift around a lot while I sleep, more while falling asleep and they have never come out then or while sleeping. The neck piece does shift around sometimes, but never enough to disrupt the earbuds or wake me up. I never wake up with my ears hurting and when I have worn them while awake, they stay in without me constantly having to push them back into place, and they don't begin hurting after wearing them. They definitely get as close to "not notice I have them in" as I think is possible. I noticed the cords or neck piece more than the earbuds themselves. Which if I do, isn't much. I can't really speak to sound quality as I listen to audiobooks, but even when using only one earbud, I have never had to max the volume to hear my books. I have had them for 9 months and use them a couple times a week. I have had no problems with them and they work just as good as when I got them. I can't recommend these enough. (I first tried the soft headbands with the headphones built in. After having three that all broke after very little use, I gave up on them. I am so glad I eventually found these.)

I was impressed with these earbuds for a while. They blocked out external sound, had good audio and were comfortable for me. I was concerned that the buds are so small they are impossible to remove without pulling on the wires. Although I was as careful as possible, the right earbud stopped producing audio after only 3 months. Edit: A thorough cleaning fixed the issue and I have been using them nightly for months. These buds are the best sleep headphones I have tried. Comfortable, especially for side sleepers. Easy controls, good sound. Excellent overall.

This sounded like such a good idea because the ear buds were actually small enough to fit into a human being's ear! It is sleek looking. BUT - it is poorly designed and badly engineered. The volume button is confusing and on the same side as the tether buttons. It does NOT automatically tether again after being recharged so you have to do the whole 10 minute routine all over again every time. Also, the battery doesn't even last long enough to use it for an entire evening. However, the sound quality is very good and much better than the pre3vious model.

I use these listening to music/podcasts while in bed. I really appreciate the concept: price is good, finish is great and the sound quality is excellent. However... I have big ears so the non-changable small earbuds just fall out with every move which is super annoying. I have McGivered some sillicone earbuds over the fixed earbuds which works pretty OK, but it is not optimal of course. Secondly, the idea of the brace is nice, but it just isn't so practical. It doesn't stay in place for me and shifts to the side all the time. I'd rather that the battery and controls are a smaller unit in the wire (check Sennheiser CX150 BT - overpriced, and have their own quirks but designwise a better concept for me).

Je cherchais un moyen d'avoir un fond sonore pour dormir sans gêner ma moitié. Au premier abords, les écouteurs sont très petits mais, à l'utilisation, ils ne gêne en rien quelle que soit la position de nuit adoptée. Le casque dispose d'une très grande autonomie! Je recommande !

One earphone suddenly stopped working. Short use.

I’ve tried several different sleep headphones/headbands over the years and this one is by far the best of the lot. Very fairly priced and fantastic quality! Doesn’t cause any discomfort when used either (unlike every other alternative) Due to the nature of sleep headphones, the speakers may be prone to malfunctioning after long term usage, however, even after that, the included warranty provided a replacement without any issue (Thanks Riza!). I would recommend this to anyone who wants headphones that don’t make you wake up with sores in your ears after using them.
