I'm able to use this in two of my largest skillets, which are both 10". One has straight sides; the other has a curved bottom/sides. It fits both skillets quite well and sits level across the bottom due to the flexible ends of the divider. It works great to cook half a meal with veggies and the other half without to please everyone. There is a bit of liquid and egg transfer between sides, but not a lot. It's easy to use and easy to clean up and store. It takes up very little cabinet space, which is important in my small home. I really like it and would recommend it.

The food-grade flexible silicone material is indeed of high quality. It feels sturdy and durable, yet flexible enough to fit into my 9-11 inch pans with ease. The fact that it's BPA-free gives me peace of mind knowing that I'm not introducing any harmful substances into my food. One of the best features of this product is its versatility. This has been particularly useful when I need to prepare meals for my family who have different dietary preferences. Cleaning up has also been a breeze. However, while the divider works perfectly for most foods, I've noticed that viscous items such as eggs can spill over to the other sections, which can be a bit messy. Overall, it's a great addition to any kitchen and has certainly made cooking more efficient for me. I would recommend this product to anyone who enjoys cooking and is looking for ways to make the process smoother and easier.

When I first saw this I was quick to order it. When I make hash browns for breakfast, I always want to make eggs in the same pan but the eggs always end up under the hash browns. I immediately thought this could solve my problem. I couldn't test it out right away when I got it but did toss it in a 10" pan with some water and the water immediately went to the other side through the sides and a bit of buyer's remorse damped the excitement of my new kitchen toy. But I finally got to give it a real test with what had been my intended purpose for the Splitten. I expected to have some leaking because I used a 12" pan and knew it probably wouldn't work perfectly, but the Splitten was still up to the challenge. As I had initially hoped, adding the scrambled eggs to the hot pan helped the Splitten do its job and overall, very little egg sneaked around the edges and most of what did was easily pulled away from the potatoes when the eggs started to set and I removed the Splitten. I am very happy with the results of using the Splitten and can recommend it.

I tried various pans to make this work as it would help me reheat or cook different foods at once and prepare the same dish with a few different ingredients on one side. But I just couldn’t get it to work like it’s supposed to with any of my pans. The description states it can work with 9-11-inch pans. The package says 10-11 inches. There’s some confusion on what sizes it’s designed for. I tried it with various sizes, and the Splitten either kept falling over, or if it did stand up, butter, sauces and other liquids seeped underneath. I first tried it by cooking two styles of eggs: scrambled on one side and fried on the other. I used an 11” cast iron skillet for one batch and a 12” for the second one because it was the only other one in which the Splitten would stand upright. But the butter and the egg whites seeped to the other side on both. I expected it to seep some with the 12”. But it wasn’t much more than the 11.” I can still use it for eggs, as it worked okay, but only because everyone likes butter. But it revealed that the Splitten can’t keep contact with the pan tight enough. In smaller pans, I couldn’t get the Splitten to stay upright at all. It kept falling over onto the food. The Splitten worked best in the 11 and 12-inch pans when the food had little to no liquid/juice, such as re-heating meats, potatoes, and vegetables. The Splitten is a superb idea that can’t wholly deliver with some pans or foods. But the quality is excellent, easy to clean, durable, and dishwasher and microwave-safe. I’ll keep trying it with other foods and dishes because it will definitely reduce my cooking and cleaning time!

This pan splitter is pretty neat. It's made well of quality silicone. Obviously, if you're cooking anything saucy you'll have leaking underneath so this doesn't work great for that, but dry or just in butter or oil and it works great!
