I am too smart for the book, I already knew everything in it, CRIED TEARS OF DILUTE HCL AFTER READING THE TITLE

Shipping was pretty fast, the book looks new, this was the exact book I wanted for a great price.

It is the required text book set for my daughter’s organic chem class exactly what she needed. But expensive- as are all textbooks

I bought this today for a chemistry class where I already have a bunch to stuff my backpack with. So the e-book sounds like the right thing, at only $9.99, right? No, not right. I will have to refer to my classmates textbooks because none of the images show up and the formatting is AWFUL. Letters and words are missing, words are placed randomly on the page, tables are literally missing. This is a chemistry textbook for pete's sake, why don't the structural formals show up?? I had to look at the sample text here on Amazon to figure out what the hell "benzophenone O C" meant.. Answer: it is the remains of the structural formula, for a chemical that is much larger than O and C. This is what happens when you scan a print of a textbook and expect the computer to generate a proper script, with no one editing it. I really wanted to love this. I could have seen past the words missing letters and the format being wonky. But when the tables and the formulas are missing, what am I supposed to do? Edit 7/11: I'm honestly frustrated and appalled at the lack of quality control of this item. I cannot even use it anymore and have been forced to use the hardback copy (which has miraculously turned into a paperback on its own will) despite the fact that it's over 1000 pages long. It basically weighs 10 lbs so I will definitely not be saving my back by wasting my money buying the ebook.

While the content is rich in background information for each experiment, it lacks a more clear instruction pattern for the experiments and post lab questions per se. I had to use the instructor guidance and additional material to be able to complete the post lab questions.
