HQMPC Garden Hose Y Valve Splitter With Stainless Steel Long Handle - Brass 2 Way Water Adapter, 3/4" GHT Thread

One of the Y Valve splitters cracked after 10 months of outdoor usage. After we contacted Support, they arranged to get a replacement sent to us as no cost.

I have struggled with turning off and on faucets for too long. My fingers hurt and were swollen. Then I saw these ugly red faucet handles. Why not green? I thought they were just too expensive. Then I realized I can’t grow new fingers. These are the hands I’m always going to have and they hurt and so I ordered and it was a good decision. They make my life easier, and my hands are happier. I don’t want to disappoint hummingbirds that are attracted to red but I can’t have everything just the way I want it so I will be thankful that you made an easier to use my faucet. My chickens appreciate that my my better disposition too. Chickens are also attracted to red OK now you’ve got two reasons to make green handles. And yes they are very good quality. For which I am thankful.

This valve appeared to be of strong construction with ball valves that appear to be stainless steel and are easy to turn on and off. All connectors sealed easily and well. I purchased two of these valves that are used at the same time under 20-50 psi of pressure for a travel trailer filter system. The valve shown in the pictures was about 10 months old and was stored over the winter dry. It was only used under pressure about 6 times for a total of about 4 weeks. There is what appears to be a welded seam at the front of the ball joint and in front of where the threaded connectors attach. It started as a few pinhole leaks that quickly expanded to a clear separation of the ball valve "container" seam. While it is most definitely a premature failure, I'm more upset about it because of the high price I had to pay at the time (there were no other valves of this type readily available, although several additional brands now are). I do not feel I received value for the money. I'm replacing this broken valve and the other valve with a new brand.

The brass body cracked along a casting seam after only 4 months of service. I purchased this unit in May 2025 and stored the valve in September to avoid freezing over the winter months. In April 2026, I discovered the crack. The valves were left in the open position (no water to freeze) when it was placed in winter storage. This valve appeared to be of strong construction with ball valves that appear to be stainless steel and are easy to turn on and off. All connectors sealed easily and well. This is definitely a manufacturing problem. The seller sent me a full refund with an apology. Because of the seller's rapid response to the problem, I would not hesitate to do business with them again

Update: I've noticed the price has dropped a lot since I purchased this splitter. It's dropped in price by at least $10 since I first purchased it. Bummer for me. That said, I do have to say that this product has stood up to the pounding sun and I'm still quite happy with this splitter. There are a lot of inexpensive plastic hose splitters. This isn't one of them. I decided to bite the bullet and buy a brass one. Yes, it's spendy, but it works well. I expect it to last. I wish the long handles weren't red, but that's a minor quibble because they are so easy to turn on and off. The reason is that my gas shut off valve is red. I'd rather not have them both be red so that in an emergency, someone won't think they're shutting off the gas since the handles are quite long, like those on a gas shut off valve.

Worth what I paid for, which is probably different than what Amazon is listing right now. Giant handles! Yes! Perfect for children and people with painful hand joints! My kids do the farm chores (watering animals), and this is beautiful for them. Plus, the red handles makes it easy for them to tell when the water line is open. Easy to install. It dripped a tiny bit, but really, just a tiny bit. We bought it to replace something that dripped a whole lot, so we'll take the tiny dripping. We'll just put a bucket under it and use it for duck/chicken water. Waste not, want not!

Facile d'utilisation et très solide. J'ai des problème d'arthrite au doigt. Je peux ouvrir et fermer l'eau très facilement. Je préfère payer plus cher sur le moment pour un article de qualité. Si on choisit le moins cher, il ne dure pas longtemps en plus il est difficile d'utilisation. A la longue, on gagne à acheter des articles de qualité. lison

These are strong, well made and worked prefect to add soaker hoses to our main hose.

3rd year at a trailer site and 3rd time needing to replace the hose splitter. Copper housing cracked on the first and plastic version leaked at the connectors to start off the new season. Taken off and stored over the winter too! This one installed easily and firmly. No leaks at all and the levers for the water flow are reasonably easy to move. I am hoping to get several years out of this product but bought the 2 pack for its savings and knowing that I will eventually have to replace it.

Très bien fait. Solides, Faciles a installer, mais nécessite quelques tours de tefflon pour éviter le fuites. Vraiment bien.

This is the second time I've bought this item. The first one broke after 1 week and this new one only broke after 3 days because had cracked. It may feel heavy duty and good quality but I'm not the only one that has had this cracking problem with this specific product. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
